I will be receiving my Bachelors in Communication with a Certificate in Technology from the University of Phoenix. I first began my exploration into the arts by early getting into Filmmaking. While attending Meramec Community College in St. Louis in 2010, I wrote and directed my film entitled “A Minute Longer”. That following year I wrote, directed, and starred in my feature filmed entitled "The Fan" as a character named Eain and also acted in another short film entitled "Distortion" directed by my fellow filmmaker Keith Hoffman. Also in 2010 I danced and helped choreograph dance routines for the "Show Me Sound Drumline" and was their lead dancer. My next big Professional opportunity came in when I was selected for the "Get Money Stop Hatin' Tour in 2014. I toured most Texas and Florida that year. It was the first significant opportunity I got because of my involvement in the creation and arranging of my music and taught me a lot about the music industry. Me participating in all these different artistic fields gave me the experience and the skill to be a multi-faceted artist. I can work with large groups of people and play both team member and leader for most projects.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Lee. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?

My name is Lee Fountain AKA "LEE THE MYTH". I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri but currently reside in Dallas, Texas. I am a Rapper, Singer, Songwriter, Actor, Voice Actor, Author, Illustrator, and Filmmaker. I have been making music for six years seriously and creating art, in general, all my life. I am currently finishing my latest album entitled "Dead or Alive" along with the 1st chapter to my Japanese Manga series. My goal is to continue to build upon the foundations established by my predecessors and to make something legendary. I want to make art that not only entertains but helps push the human race as a whole forward. My goal to inspire people to dream. I want to contribute my talents, discipline, and creativity to helping create magic, human magic because that's where magic comes from. When it concerns the utilisation of my services, one can expect to get a multitude of skills, expertise, and creativity. If I could compare my self to anyone currently in the industry, I would have to say I am a "Donald Glover" creative. When it concerns me and what I do, one can expect to get much bang for their buck. I can do almost anything I set my mind to.

Lee, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Brand?

My passions and aspirations are all over the place, but If I had to sum them up, I ultimately want to create at the highest scale possible. I want to create and express myself in virtually every creative outlet and do it with skill and discipline. I wish for when people talk about LEE THE MYTH; they mention that he was a Renaissance man, an innovator, and more importantly a fantastic artist. I started my brand in 2012 when I moved to Dallas, Texas. I initially started creating music under my alias "LEE THE MYTH" and released my first ever mixtape called "Chasing Ryoko" which got me my first fan base in Florida. The rest is history.

Who is your inspiration in life Lee? How do you stay inspired as Brand?

My inspirations range from a cluster of creatives. To name a few, they are Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino/Donald Glover, Pharrell Williams, The Beatles, Friendly Fires, Daft Punk, Japanese Anime, Manga, Stan Lee, comic books, and living life. I stay inspired by exposing myself to new things. I love to be surprised and would instead feel "comfortably, uncomfortable" if that makes any sense. If something connects with me and causes me to "feel" something, it tends to inspire me more than anything else.

We all make mistakes Lee; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back?
The biggest mistake I ever made in the past was not believing in myself. Back then I would talk myself out things, often being my own worse enemy. If I could go back in time I would tell little Lee that he was enough, he can do anything he set his mind to, and that he was excellent. Little Lee was perfect, imperfect.

Lee, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?

People are my speciality. I love people especially working with them. I learned this in my early days when making films with my friends in my neighbourhood. I'm very cooperative when I am a team member and consider the opinions of others when I am the leader and or director of a project. I believe in collaboration and believe firmly that two heads are better than one. I also love giving people the opportunity to be an artist themselves as I think that is everyone's God-given right.

Please tell us, Lee, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

Great question. If I had to put them in a specific order from the most important, I would have to say to it goes family, friends, work, and the social life. Everything I do is so that I can have more time with my family and friends, even to the point of having them involved in my work as contributors.

Lee, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Well as I mentioned earlier, I am currently working on a Japanese Manga with my illustrator and partner Nicoy Guevarra, and initially, I had a hard time finding someone who would want to help me bring my vision to life. The workload would be allotted and has been for the both of us. By the way, a Japanese Manga is a Japanese comic book just FYI. When I was going through the hiring process for this project many candidates either decline because of the workload and others were intimidated by the quality of work I was asking for. When I pitched my vision to Nicoy however she was excited and accepted the challenge. She saw my idea and believed in it. We are almost done with, and I couldn't be happier.

Lee, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Brand.
My proudest creative accomplishment would have to be me being selected for my first tour. I had to compete for it with thousands of other artist and did it all by myself. I also got to tour Florida which allowed me to meet my fans for the first time which was a dream come true all on its own.

Lee, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?
When it concerns being creative with my work, a time that comes to mind was when I first started to record music. Back then I didn't have a microphone so what I did was is I got my camcorder, put it on my tripod, created a pop filter using a leg stocking, and recorded footage of me while I sang or rapped into it. I would then get the footage, convert it into an mp3, and then I would manually line it up with whatever instrumental I was working with at the time. After I created my first song this way, I believe that was my first step in attempting to achieve my dreams which were the most exciting part of that whole process.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Brand?*
I would have to say the best advice I can give it to fail forward and fast. As odd as that sounds doing this will one to find themselves in whatever field they desire to be successful in. Failure is the quickest and most effective way of finding the outcome one wishes to manifest. I also believe its important to believe in yourself. Trust yourself and make a mess, a beautiful one at that.
