Photography is, for now, a part-time job as I have a main job in an airline company. I work with passion and respect, I always try to help the model to feel confident and always make sure she 'll be safe. I always try to answer their request and try my best for making her happy with the photos.
LAURENT, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I started photography a long time ago mainly taking a pic of cars and landscape. I stop during the transition with numeric photography, and I came back to my passion a few years ago. I discover the model's photography, and I love to work with a team, to try my best to make people happy with my work.
Who is your inspiration in life LAURENT? How do you keep inspired?
Who's inspire me? Any photography works with passion and improve the model looking, not with a lot of photoshop but with good use of lights and succeeded to make their picture alive.
We all make mistakes LAURENT; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Well hard to say. On each shooting, I learn something and I m improving all the time. Practising is the only way to feel more comfortable and to improve technically and also in the way to work with models. Each model is different, and you have to get a good feeling and let people see the personality of the model in your photo.
LAURENT, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I talk a lot ahead of the shooting to learn what the client is looking for what does he expect and also how long do I have to give my work cause it's essential when somebody asks something with the schedule you have to do it in time.
Please tell us LAURENT, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
It depends my primary job is airline pilot so I spend most of my « free » time in photography and that s why I never shoot more than three models before programming another shooting I don t want to have too many delays on for clients.
LAURENT, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
A few times ago I saw a girl and asked her if they want to make shooting, but she didn't t feel confident in herself. I propose to make one pic right now and talk later. She liked the pic and called me for a shooting.
LAURENT, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
When I was called by a stylist-designer to make her collection photos
LAURENT, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
As I told before photography is not my primary job so sometimes people, or future model call me for photos I usually don t know her and ole time don t know the place we meet for shooting, and I have to be very creative to do all works properly and make some great shots.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Do pics with your heart follow your feeling and inspiration, respect models and everybody you work with
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
