My name is Lalita Andrews and I was born in Thailand and moved to America in 2006. I started modelling at the age of 17. I am currently located near St. Louis, MO.
I have experience with 20+ photographers and experience with modelling for over two years. Fashion shoots, magazines, music videos, fashion shows, etc.
My dream career is to become a Pediatrician because I love working with kids. I also want to model at the same time. I am currently attending college at St. Charles Community College. By the end of next summer, 2018, I will have my Associate in Biology.
I use to be a part of a track team in high school. I became a State Champion for high jump in 2016 and broke the school record. After SCC, I plan to attend Mizzou or Central Methodist University under a track scholarship.
I have had a lot of experiences and I am working hard toward my goals. I've been a person who has always worked hard for what she wants and to get where I am now, I worked hard for it. Thank you very much!

Our readers would love to get to know you more Lalita. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I was born in Thailand and I can speak both Thai and English. Plus, I became the first girl in my high school to bring home the gold medal for high jump in 2016.
Lalita, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I've been inspired by one of my favourite Thai models, and I always try to copy her posts in front of a mirror. I've always wished I could have been like her, and here I am modelling in my state every now and then. Living the dream! I was always ready to post when someone pulls out a camera or a cell phone. It was natural for me.
Who is your inspiration in life Lalita? How do you keep inspired?
My mom is my inspiration in life. We both had a tough life growing up as we were very poor where we came from. She works so hard to support her two kids, my sister and I. Now we are living here in Missouri, she is working her dream job and we are running a business that we have always dream of having.
We all make mistakes Lalita, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I was warned a couple of times to not work with one of the photographers that everyone knew. I just didn't think it was right for people to judge him like that and so I went I work with him. However, they were right but I was glad someone else I knew was also there on the same day. We both ended up leaving and didn't finish the shoot because of a situation that happened.
Lalita, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
All it takes is the right kind of energy, being yourself, and most importantly focus.
Please tell us Lalita, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I worked with one of the greatest photographers, and this shoot was much different than any other shoots I had. It was working with neon paint and UV light. You could hardly see my face but the angle had to be right for the pictures to come out correctly. After playing around a little bit, I was getting it. It just took focus and listening to get it.
Lalita, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I remember working with a model and it was her first time. She was very stiff and nervous and so I gave her some of my advice. After that day of helping her, she has become a better model and her pictures look much more natural.
Lalita please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I've never been in the magazine but I was published in a magazine one day. The funny part is that the pictures were just taken by my cousin and it looks absolutely amazing. I was so proud of my cousin and myself. It didn't even take a professional picture to get into the magazine.
Lalita, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I do a little bit of dancing and if the theme was to be energetic. I put a little bit if my dance moves into the scene. It does make the pictures look really nice and creative.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Being a model takes a lot of time, focus, energy, creativity, etc. People say it's easy, will they are wrong. It's almost like dancing or playing an instrument. You have to know what to do with the camera. You can't just expect to jump behind one and think the pictures are going to turn out good. It takes a lot of work and experiences.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes I am.
Now for the best part Lalita! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
