I am hardworking, and I can do multiple tasks all at the same time. I have good taste in fashion, and I can know immediately whether one's style is on point or not. I have so many original ideas about photography and fashion. I have never been to neither design school nor a photography Institute but, I am capable of doing both well. I am a true artist: it just runs through my veins: I don't force or fake any of it. I speak four different languages fluently: Arabic, French, English and Italian and I am currently learning Turkish and Romanian. I am very motivated and know exactly what I want.
Khadidja, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My real passion is travelling; which can also be considered as my main motivation. Being in a different country fills me with some fresh ideas and gives me the impression that I have a fresh start. It also gives me the possibility to analyse new people, customs and a mix of traditional and modern.
Who is your inspiration in life Khadidja? How do you keep inspired?
My real inspiration and idol is the image of a strong liberal woman who isn't only satisfied with the fact of being just a woman but rather, does something with which the world will remember her. A woman who is unique, confident and knows what she wants.
We all make mistakes Khadidja; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Quite honestly, my career as a model is very fresh as I have modelled for only a couple of times. But, to answer your questions, I would say that the first time I had a photoshoot with a professional photographer, I remember not feeling that comfortable at the beginning but, then I did just fine. I was even able to see the difference between the first shots and the last ones.
Khadidja, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I believe that almost all clients, if not all, look for the same thing. They usually look for somebody who feels comfortable with the camera, with people and who deliver unique poses by trying to be themselves. Knowing that they all look for these major aspects, there is no prioritising. I only believe I should be myself through delivering what they all want.
Please tell us Khadidja, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Well, the time I needed to be most strategic was the last time I had a photoshoot with a professional photographer: which was exactly less than a week ago. To obtain the most original pictures, I needed to transform my outfit out of scratch through banking on myself only as he had no specific ideas. For example, I needed to remove my necklace and rather use it as a headband. Use bracelets as anklets. I needed to add a tie to my dress and use it as a belt. I also needed to change the shape of my hijab so many times. I also remember creating my poses on the stairs to make my whole outfit visible: even my wrist tattoo. But at the end, everybody was really satisfied.
Khadidja, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Well, I have never failed any job interview, so far. So, I think this is a proof that I have the ability of convincing people and make them see the best in me.
Khadidja, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
As I mentioned above, the latest accomplishment was less than a week ago, for the simple fact that I had a very difficult morning but, I was able to manage things just fine. I was supposed to wear a specific outfit but, to my surprise, it was full of stains so, I was obliged to improvise, last minute. I wore a completely different outfit which was quite simple but, I tried to spice it up with accessories, and I did just fine during the photoshoot session.
Khadidja, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Every time I need to model; I try to be creative. I play around with accessories to not end up having the same boring pictures. I create different new poses: front, side and back. I change facial expressions. I use extra material like books, magazines and whatsoever if that's necessary.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
I would advise them to get to know themselves better before being exposed to the whole world to deliver the best image of them. For example, if they see that they look better when they smile so, they should smile more often. If they see that their body looks better from the side, when they sit or when they move, they should go for it. They should also be more confident but not to the point of being arrogant because; we are all human after all and we make mistakes. But what's most important is to admit our errors and learn from them. Finally, they should be themselves and never try to imitate others; we all have idols of course but, clients look for originality.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
My dream is to make it up to "Modanisa fashion show". I would like to represent any hijab brand, most importantly, " Hijab house", "Sadiq Muslimah Fashion Wear" and many other brands.
