Alright, now for the interview! Firstly Katherine, how would you best describe yourself?
Our readers would love to get to know you more Katherine. Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far.
I've been modelling for about three years now, and grow more and more passionate about it daily. I enjoy feeling empowered and creative. I love being able to create a cohesive work of art with other artists and taking something that was once a vision in my mind and turning it into reality! I love modelling because it's given me the opportunity to learn so many things about myself and to grow into the model I'm shaping up to be.

Keep interviewing me!
What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field Katherine?
My main goal so far in my modelling, has been to explore all genres of modelling, and learning as much about being a great model as possible. I hope that I will be able to continue to connect with different photographers, models, and artists to expand my skills even more. I also would love to get my face out there more with publishing and other modelling gigs!
How do you communicate with people Katherine? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I am an extremely easy going person, and I'm very easy to work with. I've never had any issues with clients or any disagreements, have always been very open to my clients' requirements.
If you had to do it over again, what would you change Katherine?
If I had to redo anything, I'd probably just tell myself to work EVEN harder. Go after any and all opportunities you can!
Who is your hero Katherine, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
My biggest heroes are my mother and Lady Gaga. My mom was a single mother while I was growing up, and she helped shape me into the empowering, understanding woman I am now, and I couldn't be more grateful to all of the sacrifices she made for me and my siblings. Now, Lady Gaga is just a fashion and attitude guru for me. I look up to her because she is so passionate about her art, and is so talented, yet she is also so very humble with a heart of gold; it has proven to me that you can be however you want to be, with no apologies.
How important are creative education courses Katherine? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
I think they can be useful, but I've only really helped teach them, being a model for aspiring photographers.
Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry?
DO YOUR RESEARCH. Make sure the "professional" photographer is actually a professional, never meet someone for the first time alone, in a place you've never been to! Always remember to credit anyone involved in your shoot. Also, practice! Practice posing, find your best angles, and figure out your weaknesses and make them your strengths.
