I am Kate, I have been modeling for about four months. I love it, and I think it's a beautiful way to express yourself.
I am currently going to school to become a Special Education teacher because teaching has always had a place in my heart. I am looking for modeling jobs to do throughout the school. I love to help people, and build their portfolio with mine. I believe I can make some beautiful art with other people.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Kate. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I have lots of freckles that can be fun to work with. I also have really big eyes that are fun to work with.

Kate, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

Honestly, my biggest aspiration is to love my life and become a teacher. I started as a model because a lot of people told me I've very tall and skinny. I then messaged a few local photographers, we worked together and I fell in love with modeling.

Who is your inspiration in life Kate? How do you keep inspired?

My cross country coach is my inspiration because he helped me through hard times. He also told me amazing life advice which has led me to where I am today. It isn't about how you start the race it's about how you finish it. I keep inspired because my little brothers need someone to look up to. I want them to know they can always follow their dreams and I will support them.

We all make mistakes Kate, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Recently, I paid for a group photo shoot and I was stiffed because despite a contract a photographer failed to give me pictures, so I messaged him and was not very nice. He then ignored me. So I wish I was more polite, but I felt I was being pushed around and left out to dry.

Kate, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I usually just do a first come first serve. If we scheduled one day you gave me that day. Now, if a very large event was coming up I would look to either reschedule my prior plans or find someone to cover for me.

Please tell us, Kate, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

I one time had to travel about two hours away, so I need to make sure I had everything I wanted to shoot in and then some so that the photographer had a chance for a choice because they are building their portfolio too.

Kate, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I once was working with kids and I persuaded some teachers to use a different coping mechanism or another tool to help a child in distress due to special needs. It ended up working out for the child and we started to have few problems and the child stayed engaged in the activities better.

Kate, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I haven't been doing this to really have a proud moment. I think I took very big risks in working with people I did not know personally and that took a lot of me because of anxiety and other issues. Despite having those issues I have never canceled a plan last minute.

Kate, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
One time my friend and I did a lingerie #photoshoot outside of this abandoned house and farm. It had a different feeling and emotion too it which made it exciting. It was difficult because I was coming out of my comfort zone and it was actually a lot of fun, and I learned a lot about myself. It was the first moment I felt like I could make it.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Don't give up. If you keep trying and practicing you'll get it. One just needs to believe they can succeed and they will. Also, fall seven times stand up eight. One failure or rejection is not the end. Keep searching and you can do anything.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. I am mostly interested in athletics and lingerie, but I am willing to go outside my comfort zone and work with it.

Now for the best part Kate! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
