I enjoy learning new languages, and I love and appreciate cultures.
Kamari, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My passion and aspiration in life are to contribute my time to this world. One day I want to be a humanitarian and go out into the world and lend my services. I always use to use my phone and always take pictures of everything/the beauty that attracted the eye. Then my friend gifts me my first ever camera, and from there I started to take pictures that made me happy.
Who is your inspiration in life Kamari? How do you keep inspired?
My mother is my inspiration she is one of the strongest human beings I know. She taught me to be kind and respectful. I learn to live and love. The one way I keep inspired is to have people who are positive and motivating and supportive.
We all make mistakes Kamari, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I am fortunate to say that I was lucky enough and I never had a situation with a colleague. However, I am a patient person and would hate for someone to feel upset with me I like to go my way out for people.
Kamari, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I make sure my clients are always happy and work around their needs no matter what. If my clients are not happy, I like to give them another opportunity to make it up for any mishaps.
Please tell us Kamari, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
I remember doing a shoot for a clothing brand, so to be ready for this shoot I had to make sure the shipments came through on time, choose my models, choose a time and place and make sure everything is up and running smoothly and everyone is one time.
kamari, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I never had a tricky client, and fortunately, they trusted me in the process.
kamari, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Working with a small business clothing brand was one great accomplishment. I never believed in myself or my work, but when that company wanted to work with me, it made me happy that she saw potential and wanted to keep working with me.
Kamari, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I worked with a group of models to model jerseys, and I vision a street-styled type of shoot, and it was really difficult to bring it to life as I envisioned it. I had a frustrating shoot.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
photography is art so express yourself through it and don't hold back to creativity.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I will love to work with any types of brands if the opportunity is given.
