Firstly Kamantha , how would you best describe yourself?
Kamantha please tell us your talent/work rate per hour?
Kamantha . Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I am a model and actor based in Vancouver, Canada. I also have an educational background in psychology and education. I started modelling when I was 18 years old, and the immense amount of personal growth I have experienced in this industry has been priceless. Modelling helped me get out of my shell, build my confidence and fuel my passions. I now work professionally in this field and am also a coach and mentor to many aspiring models and actors.

I love the process of ageing and am 100% against 'staying youthful' with the means of cosmetic procedures.

My passion is to help empower women and be a role-model who was emphasizing that beauty is unique and self-love is a powerful key to becoming empowered.
Who is your inspiration in life Kamantha ? How do you keep inspired?
My icon since I was a little girl has been Jennifer Lopez. She is a warrior and strong woman who has stayed graceful and powerful throughout her life.
We all make mistakes Kamantha , we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Many people believe that models lack intelligence, This is actually a common stereotype and bias that affects our industry. I once met a director who said he was surprised that I was educated and spoke so intelligently after a lengthy conversation. I was mortified by his assumptions and smiled with embarrassment. Upon reflection, I wish I could have delved into this topic more to help him open his mind about physical appearance and intelligent and how they not related nor should beautiful women ever be presumed a lesser being due to her looks.
Kamantha , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
First, I am first building a relationship with a client I ensure I understand tier expectations of how I will represent their brand and what the relationship will look like. This first conversation helps set the tone of how I will prioritize our relationship.
Please tell us Kamantha , about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
A few years ago I had multiple shoots and a workshop to teach in one weekend. I had my teaching materials and outline of my shoots written up on Thursday. I made sure I stuck to a bedtime each night leading up to the weekend and managed my time accordingly.
Kamantha , please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Sometimes other models can have strong personalities and can try to project their viewpoints on others. I remember a time I overheard a conversation about 'drinking and driving', I felt the need to intercept and explain why this type of behaviour is never acceptable and how dangerous it is to take driving responsibilities lightly for both the driver and the citizens we share the road with. In the end, everyone in the room sat and thought about the matter more seriously.
Kamantha please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My first magazine publication for a bridal magazine.
Kamantha , please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I am always creative with my work and blessed with the amazing teams that allow me to always have an input with our shoots.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Firstly it is important to understand 'why' you want to enter the world of modelling. Self-love is not about loving whats in the mirror; it goes a lot deeper than that. If you believe in yourself, you will find that your energy will attract the right people and the right opportunities that will grow your career.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, in fitness, fashion, and travel collaborations.
