My name is Kaley Dignen. I am a 23-year-old identical twin from Florida. When my dad left when I was four years old, my creative side took over to create art that inspires girls to know their worth and value. To this day, I am after the same thing. I am a signed model and actress. I graduated college in 2014 with my master cosmetology license and love to be apart of wedding days! When I'm not doing any of that, I am creating for brands, working on my devotional book for girls and travelling to speak to women. My faith in love for Jesus is most important in my life, and I live to love people. I am a huge thrifter and love sharing how something that's looked past can be taken and turned into something beautiful. I am an old soul who cares a whole lot about people.
Kaley, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My motto is to turn your industry into a ministry. So whatever job title I have at the time, it's my way of sharing my passion with others on how much they're loved and how much they matter. I share a lot about my story each time, about dating and about saving myself for marriage. In the modelling industry, I strive to be a light.
Who is your inspiration in life Kaley? How do you keep inspired?
Jesus & my mom. Also, people who help others when they know it won't be reciprocated.
We all make mistakes Kaley; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I think in any situation where you wish to go back, and change is when you didn't fully put someone else first. That's my goal. I want to leave people better because I spent however long investing in them.
Kaley, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
To do this, I focus on what is at hand, not worrying about society and investing fully into whatever client I am working with at the time.
Please tell us, Kaley, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
In all areas of my life, I plan. I am one to write things down, and my top priority is to pursue my purpose. Without that, I wouldn't be who I am.
Kaley, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I love being able to have someone see past themselves and get into someone else's shoes for a little bit.
Kaley, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
For most, it could be big jobs but my proudest moments in every industry that I am involved in is when I leave a Job, a casting, an audition knowing that I was light. At one of my auditions, it called for attire that I wouldn't wear, but I attended the casting and went along with it all while being modest because I know my worth. Inspiring those around me not to follow crowds and to know their loved by Jesus is so important. Again, these industries are my ministries.
Kaley, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I can be creative in everything I do. I am working on a devotional book for girls, and it's difficult because I want my words to impact them greatly.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Being a model isn't because they or I have passed a "pretty" test. Modelling is so much more than that. Your value, worth and propose doesn't come from landing a big Job, the amount of money you see in it or what people say about you. You're valued, so loved and beyond beautiful because the one who created you said so.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I am interested in all of that and looking for information on more cover magazine features!
