Our readers would love to get to know you more Johanna. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I'm a hard working business woman in a man dominated the world. Ten years ago a was Miss Sweden, travelled the world with beauty pageants, then took an MBA I Business finance and Marketing - and then been living in USA (New York and now LA) the last four years. I'm been working as a President for an international company within the heavy industries for the last couple of years, and have made a statement that you can still wear your heels and female attribute - We should not change to fit in - we make the future! When I started in the company I was the only woman, I was the youngest and from a foreign country - a couple of years in stronger then ever, im been holding speeches in front of the big dogs at Nasdaq market site in New York, got the award of female CEO of the year (last year). I'm all about empowering woman and embrace everything that we are! Also, I'm working with a new art collection for an art show that is coming up later this fall here in LA @sundellart. My art has always been and will always be just about empower woman!

Johanna, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as an Illustrator?

Empower women - embrace the powers of the female creation. Show that it is ok to be who you are - be strong - do not let stereotypes stand in your way!

Who is your inspiration in life Johanna? How do you keep inspired?

Evolution and history at the same time. I get inspired by woman that sacrificed everything to get us to where we are today - and I'm excited about what we can make of the future - combined with fashion, the art of fashion is something special!

We all make mistakes Johanna; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being an Illustrator ; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
We all do mistakes all the time - and we learn from mistakes. It's a lot to learn - how the world works and how humans work. But we should focus on what we do great and not let thing we did wrong or maybe broke us at one time be an holdback for future adventures.

Johanna , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As an Illustrator, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

Its all about planning - sometimes you wish there were twice as many hours in a day - but all you can do is plan and keep an open conversation with your customer.

Please tell us, Johanna, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as an Illustrator?

I had an upcoming art show in Oslo, Norway. I was shipping in paintings from New York and LA - two days before I was flaying over myself, I broke my wrist - and as you can not fly with a cast (because of swelling) I had to fly from LA to Oslo with a broken arm. Then when I arrived, I went to the emergency - get my bones pulled and straightened and got a cast. However, now my arm is heald, I made it to the vernissage and sold out all my paintings!

Johanna, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Sometimes its hard to get people to understand your view of things, but something I learnt is is to be allways consistent. Lead by example - do what you want other to do.

Johanna, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Illustrator. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Every painting and every task at work is always close to my heart - one key ingredient to being successful is to have the right feeling - you cant always do things according to the book - you need to read of a feeling and follow that...and pretty much everytime im followed my intuition it has ended in success.

Johanna, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Always let the creativity flow - that helps me in a lot of things. What can be difficult is that it might not always be seen as serious, but usually a lot of good things comes out of it!

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Illustrator?

Go with your intuition - trust your feelings - don't be afraid of doing what you want and show who you are, that what makes you special (everyone else is already taken).

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I would love to and are open to any new collaboration - new, challenging thing is what develops you and makes you grow!

Now for the best part Johanna! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
