I have numerous things that are interesting about myself, for starters I am a really big comic book nerd. I love to attend comic conventions, work in I.T. as a network technician maintaining and repairing computer networks for small business and government entities. I am also a huge animal rescue advocate, I've rescued both of my dogs and have accumulated over 200K views for my work on YouTube where I showcase my rescues.
Jesse, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I started modelling just as a "hey that'd be cool to try", I then moved into fitness modelling and becoming an influencer. I evolved into a men's fitness, health, and fashion blogger where I share tips for men on how to dress, live a healthier lifestyle, and workouts. I am motivated by my fans to give them the latest and greatest tips, health products, and fashion tips on being a dapper male.
Who is your inspiration in life Jesse? How do you keep inspired?
My mother inspires me, she had a do whatever it takes attitude growing up to provide for us. Seeing her drive motivated me to advance myself in life and become a better person. I stay inspired by all the stories and fans I meet along my journey, their stories of how they look forward to my post drive me to keep up to date with the best information possible to motivate.
We all make mistakes Jesse; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
In my younger years, I didn't see how being difficult to would hinder me in future gigs. I had a few set backs being young and inexperienced where I could of being easier to work with. Luckily I was able to rectify this error and worked towards being flexible in my future gigs.
Jesse, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I would say you prioritize over what the majority of your clients would expect from you. Post or do more things that revolve around your "niche". This way you at least keep the majority of your clients happy while working on getting your smaller clients worked in.
Please tell us, Jesse, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
This is almost a weekly thing! Having as many sponsors as I do you have to prioritize, plan, and use your time wisely. You want to make sure you are not posting too much on one product, but enough to raise awareness on it.
Jesse, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I usually try to keep an open mind on things, but most of my persuasions are with convincing people they do not need to cut out carbs entirely to lose weight.
Jesse, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment so far is coming out in Flex Magazine! I was super stoked to interview for it and see my feature come out. This is a huge magazine, and it has been on my bucket list of magazines to get in.
Jesse, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
One of the best things about being an influencer is you can be as creative as possible. The more creative, the better your pictures come out. This one time I made one of my pictures look like Cyclops from X-Men as I was using my Gripped Fitness Audio Bluetooth headphones to cover my eyes like him.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Never accept being told no, if someone says you don't have a certain look, prove them wrong.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I am always looking to collaborate. I am available to collaborate on any fitness, fashion, or men's lifestyle products as long as they do not conflict with my current sponsors.
