Alright, now for the interview! Firstly Jeff, how would you best describe yourself?
Our readers would love to get to know you more Jeff. Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far.
Photography is how I express my perspective. It's a channel for my art.
Would you like to complete our full Editorial interview or skip straight to uploading your photos?
Keep interviewing me!
What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field Jeff?
Goals? To bring out the best in my subjects/models. I see myself being a conservative photographer in the digital age. A little bit traditional, if I may say.
How do you communicate with people Jeff? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I'm patient, yes. But I'm firm. Clients are encouraged to share their wants/needs. I'm a good listener.
If you had to do it over again, what would you change Jeff?
I'd have the Canon 80D as my first camera.
Who is your hero Jeff, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
My family is my hero. They're artistic yet intellectually inclined. Visionary too.
How important are creative education courses Jeff? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
Personally, I've only gone through online courses for photography. The rest is practical. I do think they're important. One can never stop learning.
Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry?
Patience. Practice. Practice a lot.
