Alright, now for the interview! Firstly Javier, how would you best describe yourself?
Illustrator

Our readers would love to get to know you more Javier. Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far.
I enjoy creating a parallel world.
I love mixing traditional and modern designs. I speak of colours, shapes, styles ...
I am passionate about the Asian world, and I am very meticulous when I create the characters.
My style is elegant, and very sensual. I want my characters to have power.
Of course, one of my mottos is love and spiritual beauty.

Keep interviewing me!

What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field Javier?
Well, my goal is to have a lot of relationship with the world of fashion and image, but above all related to the fusion of tradition and modernity that occurs in Asia. I am a mix of designer and illustrator, with the madness of an artist, so designing is also part of my goals.

How do you communicate with people Javier? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I am a very open person, very empathetic and assertive. I consider myself a very friendly person who likes to smile a lot (serious when necessary). Many times people want my work for free, so I'm very patient in making them understand that I don't do it by magic.

If you had to do it over again, what would you change Javier?
Anything that happens to you, is a lesson learned that builds you as a person, so it gives me a little fear of changing something! But if I had to change something, it would be to focus better on a particular path.

Who is your hero Javier, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
My answer is very topical, but my father, looking at me from the stars, is my hero, because he taught me that nobody would give me anything and that if I wanted something, I should fight for it.

How important are creative education courses Javier? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
Yes, absolutely, I think it is essential that someone with experience can teach you new ways of understanding art and the world. But, I must to say that not everyone is born with an artistic sensibility. And with this, I don't say that it is something that helps you in your daily life, but yes at the time of creating.

Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry?
Yes, or your family puts you in this world, or if you really like it, destroy everything and fight until you can not do it, with all the passion of your heart.

Please add any photo credits for the photos you uploaded so that everybody can get recognised.
