I'm a very loving person. I love to see people smile expecially if I'm the one making them do it. I'm also ambitious about the way I want to live my life, any other way would be unsatisfactory, and I know hard work comes with it. I like to be spontaneous about photoshoot or dance ideas. Most importantly I embrace and learn from anything and everyone that cross my path just to receive different ideas or wisdom.
Jada, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
At age 9, my mother and I are shopping at the mall in Columbus, GA. There was a runway in the middle of the mall and a man on the mic asking for anyone to try out for a modelling opportunity. I didn't ask my mom I just told him I wanted to do it, and he happily passed me a cut up paper with a commercial line. When the time came for me to walk down the runway and say my lines, I did perfectly; even I thought I would mess up. I got chosen that afternoon, and that's when modelling stayed on my mind. I inspire to be a model, Rapper and public figure to people who feel like they aren't good enough for themselves or anyone else.
Who is your inspiration in life Jada? How do you keep inspired?
I couldn't say one person inspires me because everyone does. My family is a big inspiration those that are doing great I want to be great right along with them and the ones that aren't doing well I want to help. Working as a sales representative a lot of people receive good energy from me or see I have a lot going for myself will tell me that I can do better than where I am and to go for my dreams. Just hearing that from people who barely know me tells me I have a lot in-store for my life.
We all make mistakes Jada; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
At one of my photoshoots, the photographer asked me to be sexy. I told him I don't know how to be sexy. Honestly, I watched it plenty of time on ANTM when a girl would say something similar to what I said and then comes the decision in who should go home it'd be her. So I learned very quickly from saying that and I know how to be sexy now.
Jada, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I try to make sure regardless if it's a busy day I communicate with everyone. It's one thing for it to be hectic but it's even worse when no one knows what's going on. So definitely communicate and make sure you reassure them their positions so they won't feel forgotten or even unappreciated.
Please tell us, Jada, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Recently I figured out that most models have business pages, and so I would say this is being strategic for me because it is a lot of responsibility dealing with promoting yourself, advertising, building that brand, and finding your audience.
Jada, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
One evening I was closing the store early because there wasn't any foot traffic for a couple of hours. I asked my boss if it was okay at. First, he said no because people could come in last minute. I just explained why I wanted to close the store again and told him I hadn't eaten, he changed his mind.
Jada, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest accomplishment has to be when I post a sneak peek of a photo shoot online, I'd get inboxed by multiple people, and they would tell me how good my artwork is or how I inspire them to be better. They give me butterflies because for a long time I felt like no one would care or just because it's me no one would comment but it's been embracing for me and the people around me.
Jada, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Being creative isn't a difficult task for me it's portraying to creativeness that's an obstacle. When I envision something it's always a blur glance of what I want; then it's pretty much up to me how it comes out. But none the less it's a fun experience, and I'm learning the further I get.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Big advice for modelling is to be yourself, and also be powerful. I say this because you meet plenty of people and some may not like you but the ones that show interest in you, let them understand why they were interested. Own your awkwardness, wildness, or shyness. Always think deeper than reality, be ideal.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I would love to model different brands of clothing or even be in a group, and we all do photoshoots together. I'm very spontaneous, and I want to do it all when it comes to fashion and modelling.
