Graduated in Jewelry from the EMSOM (School of the South West of Montreal, Quebec) in Canada, I design classics and contemporaries jewels adapted to everybody!
I take additional courses of Design at the School of Jewellery in Montreal to seek perfection in Creation giving you the opportunity to participate in the birth of your jewellery, hand custom-made! My work revolves around a mix of kinds: A Contemporary base with a Classic touch… A precious metal matching with a simple one… A curve combining with a straight line… A fine gem with an ornamental stone to create Equilibrium and Harmony…

Isabelle, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Designer?
I started to draw, paint and sculpt during my childhood and youth; I represented all the beauty I saw around me, landscape, city, objects, bodies, the contact with the substance and the desire of making real something immaterial gives me the passion of developing my skills in jewelry design ...
Who is your inspiration in life Isabelle? How do you keep inspired?
experiences of life travels, meet people, music, book, nature, arts and architecture inspire me... shapes and colors too!
We all make mistakes Isabelle; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Designer, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
To this day, I didn't have this kind of situation... maybe tomorrow ;)
Isabelle, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Designer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
It depends on differents things: It is a special event, it is for herself or to someone else? The complexity of the creation.. is it for somebody living here in Canada or abroad? What is the budget? All those components define my priority...
Please tell us Isabelle, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Designer?
For an engagement ring! Love doesn't wait!!!! ;)
isabelle, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
For a public personality! I propose her to carry my creations for a TV Show. She accepted!
Isabelle, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Designer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
It will be a friend of mine... Her horse just passed away. She wanted to keep our memory and soul in a jewel .. very symbolic one... I had free reins, so I created the big bangle openworked with the horse hairs inside ... When she saw the jewel, She cried of happiness! she has refound the spirit of her lovely animal on it...
Isabelle, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Two pieces in one! A pendant convertible to a ring! 2 differents precious metals with different properties .. hard to work together .. with a precious stone .. all the elements were made by hand, delicate and precise work; the jewel must be esthetic, ergonomic and functional ... all these difficulties were exciting for me! The jewel was displayed on the School Jewelry Gallery!
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Designer?
Believe in yourself, work..work..work and smile at the end of each Day!
