ABOUT

Many times I have been rejected and used. Negative energy is my footstool. I try to continue to be kind, whether treated good or bad. All around I am very kind and loving.

Iris, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?

My passions are modeling and psychology. I started modeling at a young age. I must have been about eight years old when my family reunion had a western themed fashion show. I was nervous, excited, and thrilled to walk down the runway. Ever since I knew my place of peace was in front of the camera and on the runway.

Who is your inspiration in life, Iris? How do you stay inspired as a Model?

My Lord and Savior is an inspiration in my life. My brother-in-law, who recently passed had a great impact on my life. He was such a good man, full of light! My father, who used to model for Schlitz beer. I stay inspired by other accomplishments. If others can do it, I can too.

We all make mistakes, Iris; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

In the past, I made mistakes by letting people abuse my love. I don't wish to take anything back because the world needs to see how to love others. I would only change the cycle of being used.

Iris, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

My evaluations in the workplace have I am a very patient person and sweet. I also go above and beyond to make my customers satisfied.

Please tell us, Iris, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?

I prioritize by taking everything one day at a time. Juggling school, modeling, and time to myself can be overwhelming, but I continue to put forth my hard work daily. I try to stay organized by writing important duties down.

Iris, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

At my workplace, there are many different personalities as for my co-workers. If I want to persuade someone to see things my way, I will encourage them to look at the situation on the other foot. I would encourage others to look at the bigger picture.

Iris, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.

My proudest accomplishment as a model is never giving up. Once, I was a victim of cyberbullying. I have overcome being discouraged by people who don't have the best interests for me. I got back up and am striving for greatness. Another accomplishment is being able to work with one of the hottest photographers in Chicago, Billy Pissicos.

Iris, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

Working with persons of intellectual disabilities, every day, I have to be creative in their everyday occupations. Sometimes its smooth other times I have to pair the duty with things of their interests.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Keep going and believe in yourself!
