Ian, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I start modelling since year 1 uni. When I was five, I started looking at the fashion magazine and they impress me. Also, I watched some runway show on TV and the male models are extremely cool. They give me inspiration in modelling. What I learn in modelling is confidence. No matter what people think about me, I keep being myself.
Who is your inspiration in life Ian? How do you keep inspired?
My Dad is my inspiration. He is optimistic and he loves his job so much.
We all make mistakes Ian, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I remember I did a runway show in fashion week. It was my first time being a model. I was excited. Before the show start, me and my colleague discussed which way we should walk eg. turn left or right. I didn't understand the direction that we should walk. The good thing is I asked colleague's opinion to see any improvements during rehearsal. Always think about myself, think what should I improve to cooperate with my colleagues. Even though mistakes appear, encouragement can be the winner. It can solve all the issues.
Ian ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I will ask my agency's opinion and discuss together. In the process, I can clearly see what they need in the service.
Please tell us Ian, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Stay healthy is the most important because I have to show the best to the public.
Ian, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
First of all, the fact is the most persuasive. At the same time, stand in their shoes can solve all the difficulties.
Ian please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
I did one outfit in the runway during fashion week (Adelaide Fashion Festival 2017), it was my first performance in modelling. Before the event, I went for casting. I thought i'm not gonna selected but lastly I received a message from my agent. It surprised me. In the casting, show the real personality to the clients. At the same time, talk with the models and be confident.
Ian, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?
Stay healthy in your life. Be positive. If you want to be a model, just do it.
