What's unique about me!? That's a very good question lol. I hate shopping and can't deal with makeup (I've never mastered it either). However, I love fashion! I love the creative part of it, being able to imagine a style and making it a reality with your 2 hands. The possibilities are endless and challenging at all time! You never get bored, and the results will always amaze you lol.

Hillynne, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?

Honestly, the model was never something I pictured myself doing. I was a tomboy and never walked in heels (excepted for prom).

It all started in college when a few of my teachers emailed me about...well...my appearance lol. I was a fashion student in an elite school and didn't look the part compared to everyone else. So, I got my first pair of hells (super ugly now that I think of it lol). I was then offered to work/help for a fashion show...little did I know they had other plans for me. Next thing I know I'm going rehearsal and preparing for a fashion. I loved my experience and continued in that direction.

Who is your inspiration in life Hillynne? How do you stay inspired as a Model?

Anyone who's worked hard and made their dream a reality inspires me. It's not easy being a model, going to audition and being rejected. It's hard! But seeing others with the same passion as me push through and make it...pushes to keep going.

We all make mistakes Hillynne; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

One thing I would take back would be my time as a nurse student. I feel it was the time I could have invested in me and my artistic side.

Hillynne, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I'm a really shy person who turns into me being a real goofball, but the results are always great!

Please tell us Hillynne, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

I try to balance it all as best I can. Family is important to me, so I'm ordered to spend time with them. I often include them in my projects (same for friends to support me).

Hillynne, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

Working in the marketing world, it my job to make sure the client gets the best. In order to this, I would submit two artworks (me vision and his). From there, the visual is pretty self-explanatory and most of the time picked

Hillynne, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.

Hillynne, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

I think creating an outfit for The photographer Von Wong was one of my most nerve-wracking moments. The biggest gig I've ever gotten and hadn't done anything professionally before.

I couldn't think, no clue what to make...took me forever and nothing I would think of seemed good enough.

I ended up doing a dress last minute the night before and proud of it till this day.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Keep going and don't let people tell you otherwise if the runway gigs don't work. Try photography model! Start by creating your concepts with local photographers looking to expand their portfolio.
