ABOUT
I am a student currently going to Carleton University in Ottawa. I am also a male model currently signed to Numa Models. I signed to Numa Modelling Agency in 2017. It was a dream come true for me because I know it’s a huge opportunity for me to expose myself to the world of fashion in a positive way. Am so passionate about being a male fashion model because fashion to me means being confident with oneself. The better you think you are dressed, the more confident you are around everyone. You bring out positive energy because you are confident with your fashion statement. Then people around you would love to associate with you. I am very picky when it comes to working with photographers. I am always looking for the best of the best. I never settle for less because I always want my next shoot to be the best shoot. Of course, I mix brands to create the best outfit possible, or sometimes I’m not wearing big brands. I just keep it simple. I believe I can rock any outfit better than anyone. That’s just my mentality. To be the best out there in the world of fashion.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Herve. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I have a burning rage to be the best male model out there. I come from a humble background but being a model has always been a dream come true for me. I grew up in a different part of the world where the idea of being a model was a joke to many people, but to me, it’s always being a passion. I arrived in Canada in the year 2016, and a year later I was signed to Numa Models. It’s a dream come true for me. It’s my burning desire that is unique to me and has led me to where I am now. I am always headed to the top. I can’t stop and won’t stop.

Herve, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

As I said, I am very passionate about being a model and the best to ever do it. I am never settling for less. I aspire to grow as the best and to also share the energy with everyone else who will ever look up to me. I started as a model in 2017 when I got signed by Numa Models. Of course, I was always doing shoots way before I was signed and I was so excited when I was finally signed in. It shows how far that I’ve come and all I had to do was trust the process so I can progress.

Who is your inspiration in life Herve? How do you keep inspired?

I have a lot of inspirations. Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, my family but most of all me. I’m always pushing myself. I don’t believe in limits. I know that if I can’t inspire myself, then no one else will. I inspire myself the most then that keeps me open to accept inspiration from others too. Again I never settle for less. The more I keep failing, the more I come up with new ways to conquer because my goal is to be the best and leave a mark where anyone could draw inspiration from.

We all make mistakes Herve; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Yes, we all make mistakes but to be honest with you I’ve never been through such an incident. I am hoping that as I continue moving forward, I’ll handle situations carefully and with a good thought before doing them.

Herve , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I believe in planning. Always having a good game plan helps when it comes to prioritizing the needs of the clients. Patience is a good virtue, and I also believe speed is essential so every client can be happy and satisfied with the end. No time to waste always be on the move.

Please tell us, Herve, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

As I said I’m always looking for the best of the best photographers.

Herve, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
To be honest, I’ve never been in such a situation.

Herve, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I am still fresh and new in the industry, and the biggest accomplishment I made so far is being signed to an agency.

Herve, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I’m very picky when I choose photographers. I only want the best because I know I would be the best of me in front of them. That’s when I get mostly creative with poses and also know what to wear.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

I am also on the road to be a successful model so I’d advice anyone who would love to be a model to be persistent and trust the process. A huge rock a waterfall can easily be broken down into pieces by the waterfall, not because the water is strong it’s because of persistence from the waterfall. Anyone can be the best if they believe and be persistent.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes.
