Alright, now for the interview! Firstly Hannah, how would you best describe yourself?
Our readers would love to get to know you more Hannah. Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far.
I'm Hannah Mussette and I model as well as make YouTube videos. Modeling has always been something that I wanted to do. I didn't randomly wake up in the morning wanting to be a model. Honestly, I can't do anything else BUT model. I've tried to do sports and crafts, but nothing has my attention as modelling does. I love this industry because it allows me to show other people who I am through expressions of the face and movements of my body, as well as wearing awesome garments from designers. I am 5'6", and I work so hard to show people that there is more to modelling than just height, it's about hard work and dedication.

What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field Hannah?
My #1 goal is to be a model for major clothing brands and to be on the face of Vogue. I see myself progressing through hard work.
How do you communicate with people Hannah? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I communicate with people very well. I am also very friendly with people I encounter. I don't see any need to be rude. Since I am only 17, I'm lenient towards requirements, but I absolutely won't do nudity or lingerie modelling at this time.
If you had to do it over again, what would you change Hannah?
I've had quite a lot of learning experiences in this industry and I would definitely change going to modelling agencies that were not legit. Starting out in modelling I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to pay an agent for anything upfront. The agency took my money and ran.
Who is your hero Hannah, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
My hero has to be Duckie Thot. I love her confidence and sacrifices that she had to make for the industry. She's been someone that I've looked up to because models say mean things about her hair or skin colour, but she keeps going, so that inspires me to just focus on myself and keep doing what I love even if there are people that bring me down along the way.
How important are creative education courses Hannah? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
I think that creative education courses are helpful to people that want to become something more. I haven't taken any.
Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry?
Be aware of scams from agencies, don't give money to an agency at all. Take classes for runway or acting. They will help you in the long run. Study runway walks, do your research on other models, research clothing designers. Do anything you can to build knowledge about the industry.
