Hannah. Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I am a 19 year old Jersey girl who loves nothing more than to pose for a camera and be surrounded by positive and inspiring people that the fashion/photography/modeling industry inhabits. I am with Wilhelmina agency & have been doing shoots for about a year now, and only looking to continue doing so. I'm enrolled in college with an undecided major, and work very hard as a waitress 5 days a week to invest in myself, because I believe something great is coming! Please consider accepting my submission under any possible circumstance, I promise I won't disappoint!
Our readers would love to get to know you more Hannah. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
Modeling is my safe area, something like my home base in a game of jail break. No matter what is going on at home, or whatever may have happened in the past, when I'm in front of the camera the rest is a blur and I'm ready to create art. It has been my dream to model since I can remember the concept of a dream itself, and I am truly inspired by the industry in its entirety.
Hannah, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
When my grandmother passed away, I was going through a lot of old cards and notes she had written me, all of which would say clever little slurs such as: "my little model" "my bombshell of a granddaughter" "my work of art". I was 16 at the time, I've wanted to model ever since.
Who is your inspiration in life Hannah? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration in life is my 8 year old sister Ava. She looks up to me in ways I never thought another person could. I want her to see through me that anything is possible and she to, can reach any goals she grows to have.
We all make mistakes Hannah, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Can't recall any such thing happening at this point in my modeling career.
Hannah ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
As long as you make every client feel as though you are interested in their art and are trying to cooperate with them at a reasonable pace, everybody should stay happy.
Please tell us Hannah, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
My diet. My diet has to be very strategic, always. It's a work in progress every day.
Hannah, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Hannah please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
Recently, I modeled for a NY fashion week designer; ModMara. THAT was a great accomplishment, and a lovely day.
Hannah, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
When building my portfolio, I was able to be pretty creative with hair, makeup, and clothing. I loved the diversity of shots and looks.
What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?
I would advise any future models to just keep pushing. There are definitely vulnerable, difficult, times but in the end it's all worth it. Nothing beats making your way up and knowing where you're going.
