If I set up a goal for myself, I will do everything to get it done. I refuse to give up, and I strongly believe in hard work to get what you want
Gregory, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
Modelling is a passion, and i want to work with big names in the industry. I've started very late as a model; people sometimes asked me if I was a model, some friends telling me that I should do modelling. All this made me decide to take it seriously. So I've started by a few photoshoot sessions that I paid for in order to get some professional shots and to have a portfolio ready before to begin prospecting for modelling agencies
Who is your inspiration in life Gregory? How do you keep inspired?
People inspire me in general. I love to look at successful people and understand how they got where they are. They all relate the same type of stories. It's all about hard work, dedication, not giving up and that inspires me to get where I want to get
We all make mistakes Gregory; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I can't recall any similar situation. Sorry
Gregory, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
To stay focused is the key, it's indeed not always very easy, and it does not look that way from outside. People always think it's easy and I was the same before to get on board.
Please tell us, Gregory, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I remember I had a body photoshoot planned and let's say that I was simply not ready to shoot, I had to look ripped and had only a few days to get prepared for it. I had to go through a difficult diet in order to look great for the photo shoot. I remember I even stopped drinking water 24hours before the shooting; it helped me to get where I wanted to be, but that was not easy at all. The client and I were satisfied with the result
Gregory, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I remember on a photo shoot, the photographer kept shooting my right profile, and I think that I look way better on my left one. So I told him that the shot would be better if he shot from the left, I'd be more comfortable after a few tests shot he was convinced.
Gregory, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
It's the first time I got me. It was actually when I got my portfolio and my website completed. I did my site alone, and when everything was completed I was ready to finally "start the game". It was a great accomplishment at the time.
Gregory, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
My first photo shoot with other models. To the different fake type of situations, it was not merely posing, but the challenge here was to try to look great and natural at the same time. The first time was a bit weird for me and challenging, but it turned out to be a funny game. To the different fake type of situations but again it's all about practising.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
The best advice I would give is is to practice, the more you practice, the more confident you will be the better you will know yourself
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. I'm open to a lot I'm still very new to this industry so the more collaboration I get, the better it is.
