ABOUT

I'm always looking to do something different in my life. And I reflect that in my photo shootings.

Gaston, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

I started with photography while I was studying advertising and I realise how much I love that instead.
I'm passionate about everything I do in life, trying to give my 200%. I also do scuba diving, and it's another thing that I do with passion. And my aspiration is never stopped doing what I like.

Who is your inspiration in life Gaston? How do you keep inspired?

I get inspired by everything that surrounds me. I'm always keeping my eyes and ears open to find inspiration around. I don't think I can find one person who inspires me the most; I think I have way too many.

We all make mistakes Gaston; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

My first experience as a photographer was teaming up with a good friend of mine. Things didn't work out, and I never had the chance to ask her why, because we haven't spoken since then. But I always say every situation in life is an experience to learn and grow up.

Gaston, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

I've been working on board of some Royal Caribbean Cruise ship, and there's a time when you need to deliver the product in a matter of hours. Is there's no time for yourself, for me is fine because photography is my entire life so even if I have a lot of work to do I never feel like I'm working, I'm just doing what I love?

Please tell us, Gaston, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?

My priority as a photographer is to deliver a good product at the same time as a good experience.

Gaston, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

Working on a Cruise ship, and being part of big teams, always gives to every single matter many ways to see things. I'm always trying to show the best part of my point of view so they can consider it as the best way to see the things.

Gaston, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

So, I was doing a session for a couple who got engaged, and they only wanted some photos of themselves as a memory. They like my work so much that they ask me to be their wedding photographer. The fact that makes this story great is they are from China, and I'm counting the days to be part of that wedding which has no date yet.

Gaston, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

Being a photographer is being creative. And that's why I love my profession, I can do what I like in the way I like, and people respect and admire your work.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Never stop believing in yourself, that's the key for everyone in life.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?

Yes, it's always good to have other creative people who want to collaborate with you.
I don't have any specifications about it; I think that's something that would come to us in the time of working together.
