About: Gangster Pimpin Fight Gear and Gym Wear is a start up clothing brand geared to the sports enthusiast. We are entering this market as an alternative to the one-word tennis shoe companies. (Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma.)
On that same more we are taking an opposite route and starting with tee shirts and tank tops and hope to make excellent sports shoes someday.
We are entering the market not just through MMA and boxing competitors but also through MMA and boxing fans, physique competitors, models, personal trainers, hip hop, dance and
other popular venues.
Our goal is to include our customers in the creation of our brand and to constantly market for those that have helped us with our marketing. We are a small enough company so we get to meet most everyone involved and her a feel for their marketing needs.
Tell us something about yourself. What you do, passion and aspiration in life?: My passion is to create a job for myself. Work like I don't need the money and enjoy what I'm doing But the best part of this for me is the social media. Using Instagram Facebook and LinkedIn to get the word out about our brand.
Who is your inspiration in life? How do you keep inspired?: I and my business partner refer to the part of our business plan that references an officer and a gentleman Not the two fight scenes in the movie. The scene when the sergeant tries to get Richard Gere to quit officer training school. We got no place else to go, just like Gere in the movie.
What is your aspiration in life?: We enjoy watching others we met become successful in their respective fields. We have worked with fighters, bodybuilders, motocross, musicians, models and more. We like watching their success, and we cut believe we will be successful with our clothing brand. My current aspiration in life is to create the brand and live in the moment. At the ten year mark, I may want to retire from the business, but I might want to stay. Hard to say how I will feel In 10 years.
What is the most challenging part of your profession?: The nuts and bolts of it all. Paying taxes, writing up contracts, etc. I'm not good at that, and we are currently working on adding the missing ingredient. A third partner or partnering up with a clothing manufacturer is the the options we are looking at
We all make mistakes we wish we could take back. Tell me about a time you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.: I look at mistakes as a learning experience. We try and figure out the food that came out of the mistake in addition to the bad. Most times there is a little of both.
