I think appearance wise the unique thing about me is my crazy coloured hair, but I would also say my personality is unique because I'm so personable and love to have fun and learn and see new things.
Frances, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My aspiration and passion in life too become an alternative model that proves you don't have to be a Barbie doll to be beautiful. I wanted to start modelling when I was around 11 but had horrible anxiety, finally about a year ago I got over that anxiety and did my first shoot and couldn't stop since.
Who is your inspiration in life Frances? How do you keep inspired?
My mom and Tyra banks are my inspirations. I stay inspired by remembering even when you fail you try and try again.
We all make mistakes Frances; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I would probably have to say something I wish I couldn't take back was when my photographer had not the best camera or editing skills and when the pictures came out they looked horrible, and I handled it by yelling instead of talking things out with him.
Frances, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
The key to making your clients happy is following directions and listening to what THEY want not what you think is best.
Please tell us, Frances, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I had a shoot in abandon train, and I had to listen to what to hold onto, where to stand, how to pose or I would have fallen three the bottom of the train onto the ground, haha.
Frances, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
My makeup artist insisted I need black eyebrows, but I know dark eyebrows don't look right on me and wouldn't fit the shoot. I convinced her to make my eyebrows blue, and it turned out amazing.
Frances, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I haven't been professionally published.
Frances, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I was able to be creative with my work in this one shoot at an old broken down train; I was able to hang out the broken windows, sit in the windows, go under the train and stand outside the side of the train. It was awesome.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Be yourself. Do not think while posing, be comfortable. Don't be stiff and have fun with it but not to much fun to the point where you aren't professional.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I'm looking for any and every chance I could get to work with different photographers, locations, and different models.
