Our readers would love to get to know you more Fonz. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I would say that my impulsiveness makes me unique! Whenever I have an idea in my head I can't sleep, eat or work until I have that idea down on paper
Fonz, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Creative Director?
My passion in life is to serve others! I take pride in making others happy and helping the community we all live in. I started as creative director by going to different photo shoots and giving an advice on how to make a shoot even better. Different styles. Different scenery.
Who is your inspiration in life Fonz? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration in life is Pharrell Williams. I continue to be inspired by dedicating at least 2 hours a day to brainstorming and coming up with new ideas
We all make mistakes Fonz, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Creative Director, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
About 7 years ago (when I wasn't serious with photography) I sent the wrong image files to the wrong client
Fonz, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Creative Director, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I usually get together with my team and delegate different tasks so that by the deadline each client is happy!
Please tell us, Fonz, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Creative Director?
Last year I was presented with the opportunity to advise a shoot, edit a movie, and direct a shoot all around the same time. So instead of stressing over the projects I sat down with each client and mapped out different deadline dates so that I could work on each project accurately
Fonz, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I had a video project that a client didn't agree with so I created two versions and made a poll. I sent it to some of their closest friends and wanted them to choose which one they liked. My version received more likes so we went with that
Fonz, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Creative Director. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment would be working with kiwi vintage, which is a regal store in East Atlanta that served authentic vintage attire and decor. It's my proudest moment because I know that store is going to be BIG one day and I just love being apart of the foundation
Fonz, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I'm usually most creative when I'm working on personal projects. It's exciting because there are absolutely no boundaries!
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Creative Director?
Hard work beats talent. Work. Work. Work!!! Dedicate yourself to yourself
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I am! I'm looking for photography collabs. I don't mind modelling or being behind the camera
Now for the best part Fonz! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
