My name is Fatima Boufadize, and I'm a 22-year-old undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder. I study Neuroscience and hope to be someday a doctor that helps and heals the wounds of the brain. Wounds sometimes unsaw by the eye. My experience with modelling has been a strange and unstable one. I initially started with an agency and then shortly quit, deciding that they were in it for my money (One Source Talent). Later, I decided to take gigs off of Craigslist. Finding professional photographers who needed models for their portfolio. This was where I received most of my experience, and I've had a craving for more ever since.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Fatima. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I was born in Rabat, Morocco in the year 1995, but a few years later my family packed up and moved to the United States. Searching for new meaning and new adventures. Through my parents' spontaneous decision, I was able to get an American education. I can also speak two languages and plan to solidify my Korean language skills within' the next two years or so.
Fatima, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My true passion in life is medicine. My hobby and enjoyment in life are modelling. Bringing to life a moment. A single photo. I learned that expression could be crafted to my liking.
Who is your inspiration in life Fatima? How do you keep inspired?
I visit my home country of Morocco as often as I can. Through these trips, I discover what it means to be humble and grateful for what I have. Many of my people are starving and begging for scraps on the streets every day; many of them children. This keeps me inspired and keeps my goal in mind.
We all make mistakes Fatima; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Honestly, I haven't been a model long enough to experience this. However, let's say I go to a photo shoot and I find out that my director or photographer is a complete and total asshole. I can't simply get up and leave like a child. I need to maintain my composure and show them who I am.
Fatima, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I would prioritise based on importance and relationship with said clients. There's always going to be someone first in line, but maintaining my relationship with all of my clients and keeping them interested is what matters.
Please tell us, Fatima , about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I have no such experience.
Fatima, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I run into this all the time at university and work! There never seems to be a shortage of people you can convince to do something. A lot of the time I'm trying to convince my manager to allow me to work more hours than I'm allowed! She argues with me for minutes on end in her office, but in the end, and through professional begging, I tend always to leave the office with my way.
Fatima, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I remember working with a local photographer and having him capture a photo of me that was mind blowing. It was at this moment that I realised my potential and it was amazing.
Fatima, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I was able to experience my body and how it works through modelling. Different angles and postures.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Keep working with everyone you can. Not every job will pay cash, but every job will let you walk away with something.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I'm open to all types of collaborations.
Now for the best part Fatima! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
