I am a 13-year-old 2nd-degree black belt in TaeKwonDo. I continue my work in martial arts in hopes of earning my 3rd degree at 16 years old. I've been acting less than a year, but have had supporting roles in 2 short films, a feature film, and a web series. I love to learn and have an incredible work ethic. I love to collaborate with other artists and take direction very well.
Evan, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Actor?
My passion in life is martial arts. I aspire to be able to use my martial arts skills in a movie one day. I enjoy my training and continue to hone my skills in hopes of becoming one of the greatest martial artists on the silver screen.
Who is your inspiration in life, Evan? How do you stay inspired as an Actor?
My greatest inspiration in life is my dad. Everything he has taught me in my life he has taught by example. He exemplifies honesty, courtesy, and integrity. As an actor, Bruce Lee inspires me. His small stature and the odds he overcame to become one of the greatest of all time keep me striving for greatness.
We all make mistakes, Evan; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
The only regret I have is that I wish I had started acting sooner.
Evan, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
I work incredibly hard, take direction well, and do whatever it takes to get the job done right.
Please tell us, Evan, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?
At 13 years old, the family is always first. My friends are also very important to me, but when work opportunities come along, work takes priority. Luckily, my family and friends are very supportive of me and help me in any way they can.
Evan, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I'm only 13; I don't think I've ever tried to persuade anyone of anything at work.
Evan, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Actor.
My proudest professional accomplishment was getting the role of Henry in the Love, God, & Tattoos web series.
Evan, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Being able to improve on the set of my very first film was very exciting. It was a challenge being that it was my first film, and I was pretty nervous. Luckily, it turned out great.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Actor?
My advice for anyone wanting to become an actor would be to be ready to work hard. Acting is incredibly fun, but it isn't easy. If acting is what you want, dream big, put the work in, and never give up.
