I am a graduate of New York Institute of Photography; I currently work in finance and love to educate young people on how to make their money work for them. I suffer from Bipolar 2, faced with a life sentence of heavy prescription medication I set out to treat myself with coping mechanisms and nutrition. I have practised my whole life with natural coping mechanisms to handle my mental health and through this journey have embraced a life of positive and intentional thoughts. I choose to be happy every day which I like to share on Instagram with other people who need a support system. I believe that social media can be a healthy place for your mind and soul and I use my photography and personal story to try and make a difference in someone's day.
Our readers would love to get to know you more Erin. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?
I am empathetic and easy to talk to; I can see value in everyone.
Erin, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Blogger?
My aspirations in life are to help other people with mental health issues or self-esteem problems to work with themselves to find a balance where they can thrive and enjoy their lives again.
Who is your inspiration in life Erin? How do you stay inspired as Blogger?
I would say that my inspiration is my mother, My mom has been the foundation on which I have built myself. I started photography when I was a very young girl; I love the thought of stealing a moment in time that can never be reproduced. The motivation for coaching came from a lifetime of trying to motivate me to live a productive and happy life despite my illness. When I started to find my stride after years of falling, all I wanted to do was share it with other people who were suffering and make them feel better.
We all make mistakes Erin; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I've made lots of mistakes too many to name, but one that comes to mind first is that as a teenager I used to self-harm, and now as an adult, I have embarrassing and disfiguring scars, and I wish I had not done that to myself.
Erin, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?
Honesty and Integrity above all else. If you tell your clients to flat out how it is they will be willing to refer you and will bring you business forever.
Please tell us, Erin, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
I am a motivated and goal oriented person. Along with that, I am very organised, I plan and schedule every day down to the hour. I sit down in the morning and write out my goals for that day and then schedule them so I know I have time for everything I want to accomplish. My work is my passion, and my friends are my family, so that helps!
Erin, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I do this every day! I work in a sales focused financial office, persuading someone is easy when I know what I am offering them is right for their future.
Erin, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Blogger.
My proudest accomplishment so far has been the messages from girls saying how much my Instagram has motivated them to be better. No better feeling than knowing I am helping someone.
Erin, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?
Photography is an expression of creativity in every way sometimes I don't feel inspired, and that is difficult for me sometimes.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Blogger?*
My advice to anyone who wants to pursue their passion project is just to get started. You don't need every step to be figured out. Just figure out the first few and get working, the rest will appear for you on the journey.
