My style of shooting and my eye for creativity. I love vibrant colors and also blacks and shadows. Visuals are a big part of our everyday life.
Eric, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I'm passionate about making people look great and capturing moments in time via pictures. Visuals can invoke emotion in any person no matter their background, race, etc.; I got started in photography as a child. I used to love playing with my uncle's Polaroid camera and taking pictures of stuff that I'd considered cool and interesting.
Who is your inspiration in life Eric? How do you keep inspired?
Life is my inspiration. From architecture and people to plant life and nature. I see the beauty and so much possibility in everything around me.
We all make mistakes Eric; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I haven't experienced that yet. I'm an easy going person and more than open to ideas from others that want to align with my vision
Eric, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I do first come first served for my booking. If its a large event and express their strongest desire to use me then I'm not closed minded to rearranging my bookings.
Please tell us, Eric, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Haven't had this experience yet but I'm more than sure when that time comes I will conduct myself professionally
Eric, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Well, the initial idea for one picture my client had was ok. But I expressed to her what I envisioned in my head with a slight change in the pose and from a different angle. Once I took the picture she was more than thrilled with my way of seeing things.
Eric, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Just seeing the joy on my client's faces. Their praises and excitement my work generates are enough for me.
Eric, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
It was amazing!! I did an African tribal themed shoot with some ladies. The idea for it was to communicate sisterhood and unity despite age, shape, and skin tone.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Just to open their minds up. Take people under their wing and just shoot to perfect their techniques every chance they get
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes! Looking to work with published models, magazine companies, concert promoters, whoever!
