Emily. Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I'm from a country town in NSW, studying nursing in Sydney. I got scouted by Country Girl Management for one of their events, which included a modelling workshop, photo shoot and a catwalk show. I'm a determined person, and I love being kept busy. I love fashion, makeup and clothes, and it's not often I skip the chance to dress up. I'm an ambassador/rep for Inner Beast Clothing Motivational Active Wear, and I love going to the gym and keeping active. I decided to try modelling as it makes me happy and I find it challenging and it really boosts my self confidence.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Emily. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I'm a country girl at heart, and I've grown up in regional areas across NSW. I love animals, especially dogs! During school, I played a variety of team and individual sports, such as gymnastics, football, squash, hockey, and basketball, which I absolutely loved going to.
I also play the piano, and I love music. It's definitely a passion of mine.
I'm a determined person with a love for keeping busy and trying new things.

Emily, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion is first and foremost helping others. I'm studying to be a Registered Nurse at the moment in Sydney, and I love the feeling of helping one person feel even the slightest bit more comfortable.
Modelling is another passion of mine. My ultimate goal is to inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle and to adopt positive body image. As an aspiring model, my goal is to reach enough people to spread my message.
I never considered modelling before I got scouted for a competition being held by Country Girl Management in Sydney. I attended the day and went home feeling excellent and really positive about the experience. I've been building up my social media presence on Instagram, and from this, I've become an Ambassador for Inner Beast Clothing Motivational Active Wear, which I'm so excited about.

Who is your inspiration in life Emily? How do you keep inspired?

My mum is my inspiration in a lot of ways. She's taught me determination, resilience and how to be tough when life gets complicated.
I keep inspired by focusing on my goals and by imagining my future as one that includes me challenging myself and just being happy.

We all make mistakes Emily, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
As I'm new to modelling, I haven't had many challenging experiences. A particular experience involved myself not being selected for a competition's next stage and I struggled with feelings of not being good enough for this industry. Instead of focusing on these feelings, I wish I had recognised my strengths in the many other different areas of modelling and fashion, such as sport and activewear promotion.

Emily ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

As a new model, I'm constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and ways to become recognised as a professional. My time management skills and organisation have allowed me to plan my busy schedule well throughout high school and the beginning of university and I plan to continue that into modelling.

Please tell us Emily, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Emily, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.

Emily please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
My first catwalk experience was very new and quite confronting! Before this experience I never had really had a lot of focused attention on me, so to walk individually in front of strangers and friends took a lot of courage personally. I was very proud of myself for believing I could really get through this and excel at the event.

Emily, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
As a model, during photo shoots, there is many different poses and body positions that can be used. I had a bit of trouble finding the ones most suited to my look and to my body type, but after experimenting at home in front of the mirror and in photo shoots with friends I have been able to get a hold on the most flattering poses and positions in order to produce better quality shots.

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes please! I would love to work with any photographers, modelling agency's and brands in need of a fresh, unique face for their brand. I believe that I'll be able to use my love of fashion and makeup to really produce some excellent results for the people who choose to collaborate with me.
