ABOUT
Esh by esh is the designer brand of luxury handmade knitwear and accessories that are created of highest quality yarn, as well as time, love and creativity.

Esh by esh stands for uniqueness and self-expression. It believes that being special is a timeless trend while being a personality is always in fashion. That is why Esh by esh stands for colours, textures and designs that send your message to the world versus grayscale crowds on the streets that wear fast fashion. We choose one high-quality piece of clothing that looks and feels ideal to a pile of one-day clothes that get worn out and create a mass of trash polluting the planet. Using organic and natural materials, we knit sustainably. Being in the loop, we do add current fashion trends into our designs, whether it is certain to color palette or silhouette, but we do it accurately so that this item is related to classics that are out of time.

Cashmere, silk, viscose, goat down, angora, merino, alpaca, organic cotton, eco-wool - these are some of our beloved materials that we use knitting sweaters, cardigans, vests, dresses, hats and scarves for you.

We are also proud to say that all out knitwear is created in collaboration with at least three generations involved in our family business. Our youngest designers, being only four years old, so inspired us to create family look collection - now you can order almost any model from our lookbook for mother and daughter (son, husband etc.) to have a gorgeous, similar look! Designer and creator of Esh by esh brand, Elvira Shipitsina, carefully develop each new model, mixing magic cocktails from best available yarn and still personally knitting limited edition items for you. Elvira has dedicated almost all her life to knitwear - she developed collections for other brands, created tailor-made knitwear in the premium segment, at the same time getting an education in the field of psychology studies. This is one more reason why you feel so good in Esh by esh knitwear - we apply colour psychology knowledge in every item and knit with empathy to you, trying to feel each new sweater as with your skin.

Stitch by stitch, Esh by esh creates its limited edition knitwear and ships it worldwide to inspire you to use the opportunity to be unique.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Elvira. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

Elvira, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Fashion Label?

Designer and creator of Esh by esh brand, Elvira Shipitsina, carefully develop each new model, mixing magic cocktails from best available yarn and still personally knitting limited edition items for you. Elvira has dedicated almost all her life to knitwear - she developed collections for other brands, created tailor-made knitwear in the premium segment, at the same time getting an education in the field of psychology studies. This is one more reason why you feel so good in Esh by esh knitwear - we apply colour psychology knowledge in every item and knit with empathy to you, trying to feel each new sweater as with your skin.

Elvira has started creating clothing items from her childhood. Her mother was sewing professionally, and fashion sketches inspired a little girl to take scissors and needles to create something for herself, and later, being a young lady, get training in professional knitting techniques and equipment, to create something for you.

Who is your inspiration in life Elvira? How do you keep inspired?

I get inspiration from nature. White swans can inspire me to a white cashmere sweater, as simple
as that. Your smiles and happy eyes wearing my knitwear and falling in love with yourself, motivate
and inspire me most.

We all make mistakes Elvira; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Fashion Label; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
When I started my fashion brand, we worked a lot of showrooms and studios, and I remember returns or white sweaters destroyed with red
lipstick, or cashmere dress that got sun-dyed in the shop window. As we create each item individually, and we are not about the mass
production that is ok to handle some of the product spoilings, it was rather painful. Now we know which are out most fragile items and prefer to sell them directly, for example, shipping them worldwide to customers online

Elvira, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Fashion Label, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

We create knitwear in an upper medium price segment that is why we can not afford mass production, and we don’t want to do
it - each customer has a chance to tailor his knitted item upon request. For example, sometimes we recommend allergy-free yarn or knit a bigger oversize model knowing that our customer is
expecting a baby so that she can wear a stylish oversize sweater during and also after maternity

Please tell us, Elvira, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Fashion Label?

For some time we invested quite a lot of time to understand who is out the main customer, what does she want and what we can create to touch ou customers hearts. There were moments when we
launched a new model or colour and thought like “yeah this would rock definitely”. And it didn't. sometimes we released something just-like-that, and the demand was unexpectedly big. It is very difficult to feel your customer, but we do our best to knit for a better world

Elvira, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Pictures and words speak less. When customers feel the touch of our sweaters, they wear them and experience “that soft touch” and the warmness of handmade item - they get persuaded it is worth to pay for

Elvira, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Label. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
We our proud that our sweaters live already all over the world -
And when you realize someone now feels happy and smiles in your sweater in another part of the world, it is amazing, and it inspires us to keep going! We have shipped to the most Northern city in Russia, to Asia, Canada, USA, European Countries, and even small islands and cities that you we didn't know that exist!

Elvira, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
We love photo sessions as they have space for creativity. We get created when we see there are so many beautiful and interesting faces and
people. Our model Aida has higher education, comes from Angola, speaks many languages, is very spiritual - the fact that such
individualities wear esh by esh drives our creativity

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Fashion Label?

to ask yourself - what does my
Client want? What does she dream about before going to sleep? What is she afraid of? What is that she is missing? And what can my fashion item give to her?

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
We are looking for cooperation with fashion bloggers, stylists, showrooms, online fashion shops and anyone else who believes that
clothing is much more than just clothing

Now for the best part Elvira! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
