I am 20; I will turn 21 on Holloween. I am Native American. My grandfather was Chief of the Central Texas Cherokee tribe. When he passed away in 2003, Austin flew their flags at half staff for three days. A little known fact about me is, I am deaf in my left ear and have been since birth. People are always shocked to discover this because my Mother didn't allow this disability to handicap my ability to succeed. I have an above average ability to work with anyone, and I love making others around me comfortable

Elizabeth, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?

I would say my passion is to succeed in everything I do! I was raised with a strong work ethic and belief that if you want something, you have to work for it! I am completely passionate about being healthy and living my best life always! My Mom has been a huge factor in my modeling. When I said, this is what I want to do, she said ok and immediately started to promote me!

Who is your inspiration in life, Elizabeth? How do you stay inspired as a Model?

My Mom! She is driven and works hard and has so much energy to keep going full speed! I love fashion, and I love dressing up! I get fired up when I am on the runway, my adrenaline runs high at that time, and it's a feeling that keeps me wanting more!

We all make mistakes, Elizabeth; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

At just 20 and having the Mom who says "Part of my job as a parent is to impress upon you the importance of not making the kind of mistakes that take a long time to correct or God forbid, ones you never recover from!" I've been fortunate enough to look back on my short life and not have to say, "I wish I hadn't done that!"

Elizabeth, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I am easy going and laid back, but I take my job very serious, and at the end of the day, I want people to be happy with the job I've done.

Please tell us Elizabeth, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?

Work comes. First, it has to! All my goals in life depend on me being successful in my job! I spend a lot of time with my family; it's where I get my strength! My friends and my social life go hand in hand, and l do try to make time for at least one outing a month to have fun!

Elizabeth, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

I've only had one job. I started as a cashier at Walmart in my junior year in high school and work there still, although I am not a cashier now. My Mom has always had a specific way she bags her groceries. I told people I work with that most customers like that as well. I bagged groceries for the customers like my Mom prefers hers, and before long, I had people not only returning to check out at my register but also telling management about their experience!

Elizabeth, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.

I would say being asked to model for the dress shop where I purchased my prom dresses and eventually my pageant dresses. When they posted the pictures on their Instagram page, all my friends were blown away!

Elizabeth, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

Doing a photoshoot with Benizo in Dallas! He promotes individuality, so being yourself is easy, and being able to be photographed in multiple outfits is the stuff modeling dreams are made of! After my first photo shoot with him, I was hooked!

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Take your time! You can't just jump out there and become successful overnight! Everything a process! I started pageants four years ago, and this past year, my goal at Miss Arkansas USA was to make the top ten and guess what? Yep, top ten! Enjoy the ride! If everything happens too fast, there's no journey to remember!
