What's unique about me? Simple question, me. I see things through a completely different light, and that's why I consider myself "unique." I'm very open-minded, and that's a good thing when you're a photographer — no limits for your mind.
Elisa, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Photographer?
As I said before, I started when I was a child, I've always loved photography, every kind of it, every shade. I've always known what I wanted to do and what I wanted to be. I started studying photography and graphic design at 14 years old, but I'm into fashion photography since 2017. My aspirations in life are a lot and very big, I like to dream big, and hopefully, they will not stay just dreams for so long. I'd love to travel the world and take pictures in every corner of it. I'd love to move from Italy and start working in NY, the city of my dreams. I'd love to have a beautiful and big career in fashion photography, to be published in big magazines such as Dazed, Wonderland, and why not Vogue.
Who is your inspiration in life Elisa? How do you stay inspired as a Photographer?
There are a lot of inspirations in my life, a lot of influences too. I can be inspired by almost everything I see, and that's why I always bring my camera with me; you never know what or who you could meet and see. My family, my dogs, my little cousin, my favorite musicians, and singers, my favorite painters, my favorite tv shows, movies and nature, animals, cities as well. That's how I stay inspired, with my eyes open on the world.
We all make mistakes Elisa; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I quit my favorite sport, I quit volleyball because of some negative people, and that's my biggest mistake ever. I regret this every single day of my life.
Elisa, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
I'm not that good; I need to improve my skills as soon as possible.
Please tell us, Elisa, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?
They're all part of me, and I need them all. I lost a lot of friends on my way here, and sometimes I feel lonely, but thankfully there are a lot of people that believe in me, and I'm grateful to all of them.
Elisa, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I'm quite good at that. I always keep talking and try to make some examples of it to make people understand my point of view. They usually trust me.
Elisa, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.
When I won a contest made by Vogue Italia and Tommy Hilfiger, and I'been published on Vogue Italia with that picture.
Elisa, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I was in Paris, and for the first time, I didn't have a stylist with me, I was alone with one of my best friend, and I did my very first shooting on my own. The exciting part was to challenge me with styling and so the art direction of the photo shoot. I was so nervous about it.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Keep going. Never give up, take photos always and everywhere. Bring always your camera with you. Don't be afraid to fail; it's part of the game. STAY INSPIRED.
