ABOUT
I am an Aussie/Lithuanian model. I was living in Lithuania for four years and being there started to give me thoughts about being a model. There are so many beautiful and talented models over there. But I thought it was too much of competition. Last July I moved back to Australia and started to think about what I would love to do. I started modelling for photographers about five months ago, and It is an enjoyable experience.

Modelling keeps me busy, but also gives me the confidence I need. To give other models a chance to show the world of how beautiful they feel about themselves aswell. I remember my first ever photoshoot and that was a lingerie shoot. I was a bit nervous but the fun over ruled it.

I have done nude, lingerie, glamour and body art. I love it all.

three months ago I found out that I am pregnant and I am currently nearly half way there. But does that stop me from modelling? No!
It brings me much more opportunities to shine.
I love to flaunt my pregnancy. It is beautiful. I would want my child to be confident as well.

I am also a victim of sexual assault. Some people tell me I should be scared going to photoshoots. But I don't want to play the victim. I want to get out there and show everyone that I am who I want.
It has made me who I am today.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Elena. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I think being a pregnant model has inspired me to do a lot more modelling. I would of course love to do more. I am not afraid to show my baby bump at all.

I am a strong woman.

Elena, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

From a very young age, I have always dreamed about modelling. I used to watch America's next top model all the time. I was obsessed with it.

Who is your inspiration in life Elena? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration has always been one of my friends who is a beautiful Lithuanian model. She has inspired me to become who I want. Also, my baby is my inspiration because I want to be a great role model.

We all make mistakes Elena; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I think sometimes my insecurities have shown during some shoots. In a few shoots, i can sometimes look very nervous. I should not be afraid. I know I am beautiful inside and out.

Elena, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I make sure each knows what kind of style they are looking for. Sometimes it is hard to be such perfection for all. Having fun is the key.

Please tell us, Elena, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Time and effort are what I expected from myself to overcome being a model.

Elena, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Since I am pregnant, I can sometimes not feel as beautiful as I should feel. It can be hard sometimes to make someone understand how you feel. Being a victim of assault can also sometimes make a shoot very awkward if I am not at all comfortable.

Elena, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My best accomplishment was my first photoshoot. That was a time when I was extremely proud of myself. I knew I could do it.

Elena, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I am in love with horror so with two of my photoshoots we did a horror-themed shoot which was a bit challenging and difficult but it was also very interesting. The scary makeup and clothing. I thought it was "okay" until I saw the amazingly scary photos from it. I was very impressed with how the ideas turned out.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Be who you are. Also, give things a go and don't hold yourself back.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I would be very interested in doing photoshoots with other models and Australian clothing brands.

Now for the best part Elena! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
