I'm originally from a small town in New Hampshire. After extensively traveling and living in different areas of the country I have settled in Brooklyn New York, where I work in real estate acquisition, run a recording studio and record label, and also pursuing my career in music. I am a rapper writer and producer of music and video, also dabbling in fashion and modeling. I also have an obsession with fast cars, I build racecars in my garage in New Jersey and race them on tracks all over the East Coast. My alias is the Dude Reppin' Knowhere, with 'Knowhere' also being my brand, which means I'm always on the go, traveling physically, mentally, and spiritually always.
Our readers would love to get to know you more Doug. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I am an entrepreneur with my feet in different areas including real estate, automobile racing, automobile collecting and building, rap music, EDM music, producing records, putting on events in NYC, and pursuing just about anything else that interests me. Life is a playground.
Doug, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as in your career?
I aspire to enter into the unknown, create art and share it for the sake of all humanity.
Who is your inspiration in life Doug? How do you keep inspired?
I have been deeply inspired by my grandfather, and also a plethora of spiritual seekers.
We all make mistakes Doug; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I ended a relationship with a friend and colleague because his issues got in the way of work. I wish I had been more of a support system and less harsh.
Doug , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. How do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I keep the big picture in mind and support the needs of the most important people to get to where were all working towards.
Please tell us, Doug, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities?
I had to give a lot of decision-making power to other people because of their expertise; it's not easy to give up that decision-making role to other people when the stakes are high.
Doug, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
By using metaphors that coincide with this person's experience, I was able to give a different perspective to someone to help guide them through a situation.
Doug, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment? There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I have brought many different people from different cultures together to form one project; it was a beautiful experience.
Doug, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I am always creative with my work because I can tap in and pull from the void within. This is very exciting always, doing what has never been done.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful?
Listen to the beat of your drum. But you can only listen to yourself when you're not distracted by the environment around you. A daily practice of yoga and meditation is vital in anyone's personal and professional life.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I'm looking for music and fashion collaboration always. I like to do what has never been done; this is how trends are set.
Now for the best part Doug! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
