State / Region

My Name is Demi Sargeant, and I'm 16 years old from QLD Australia. I live in is Brisbane! I am graduating this year, and I'm so excited to start my dreams. I will be attending university and be studying business and communication; I have a dream of one day starting y own fashion label or working for a fashion company overseas.
I am a model and Instagram influencer I love social media and put a lot of time into it and love helping others build their confidence and getting to know my followers.

Demi, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?

I am currently a freelance model as I'm not signed with an agency. I was scouted when I was 14 by Country girl management where I then attended a confidence building and posing/ catwalk workshop and later competed for state finals where I made it through. That is where my dream began. I want to continue modelling, and I also want to work in the fashion industry.

Who is your inspiration in life Demi? How do you stay inspired as a Model?

My biggest inspiration is my mum because she's such a strong and inspiring woman. I want to be like her as she has done the best job of raising my two brothers and I. Along the lines of inspiration as a model it would be high ends fashion models such as Gigi Hadid and Romee Strigid and Taylor Hill. As I watch them live there dream it gives me hope.

We all make mistakes Demi; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

I have made mistakes as I am human, but I don't regret any as we all make mistakes and we make those mistakes for a reason as it's about learning and growing as a person.

Demi, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I am always polite and nice as first impressions matter, and I want to maintain a good reputation.

Please tell us, Demi, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

It's so important to juggle all these things. They're equally as important, but I don't find it that difficult as I make time for everything, even I'm not sure how I manage.

Demi, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

Just by speaking to people and communication is key. If you explain things properly and make reasonable arguments, they should come around if it's the best thing for both of you or the project.

Demi please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.

My proudest moment was the first time I modelled .i was so nervous but I gave it my best, and it was so much fun.

Demi, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

The poses you do can make it break the clothing. It's important it compliments the clothes, so I try to stay creative with poses and mix it up.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Never give up. The Industry is full of rejection but it makes you a stronger person and helps you learn, so stay positive.
