Fashion Stylist

Able to make cheap look luxury, bring good vibes to the workplace, can improvise and work very efficiently

Deimante, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Fashion Stylist?

I was discovered by a fashion photographer based on my daily styles and invited to collaborate in editorial shootings.

Who is your inspiration in life Deimante? How do you stay inspired as a Fashion Stylist?

I see inspiration everywhere around me - nature, food, a city with its different colors, textures, smells. I am also a fan of crafted pieces, minimalist philosophy, Scandinavian design and fashion influencers.

We all make mistakes Deimante; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

I wish I did not wait so long to dare participate in fashion projects and express my creativity.

Deimante, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I keep the deadliness, can make the project complete with very minimal resources, I listen to their request but also always share my vision and encourage to be more creative.

Please tell us Deimante, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

Family and work take the most of my time; the rest is given to friends and social life.

Deimante, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

In the last shooting, I convinced a founder of a brand to be brave and invite more colors and accessories to show how playful and flexible her pieces can look.

Deimante, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Stylist.

The compliments received from Fashion Designers after the successful shooting and my family finally admitting that I create wonderful things and should pursue my dream.

Deimante, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

In most of my projects, I was able to express my creativity; the most difficult thing is responsibility - to make sure that the outcome is great.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Fashion Stylist?

Inspiration is everywhere, don't be afraid to express your creativity, talk to people about your passion, show your work, seek for collaborations.
