Fashion Designer

Deborah, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Fashion Designer?

I would like more opportunities to showcase my fashion designs, perform on stage, choreography, and expand my artwork. The way the creative world is presented has changed over time, and I am right there with the changes which are a great place to be.

Who is your inspiration in life Deborah? How do you keep inspired?

I am articulate when building relations, and I am more of a listener due to my introverted personality. It is this way; clients are most satisfied with the results.

We all make mistakes Deborah; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Fashion Designer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

Life is progressive and not so much accumulative is what I believe and understand for myself. You can be at the right place at the right time with the right skill set, and no matter what you've done in the past, a new world can emerge. I've seen it happen to my friends and I've seen it happen to myself. So to answer the question, I wouldn't know what it is I would have to do over again to arrive where I am today. I am content.

Deborah, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Fashion Designer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

I am my hero and G_d. My family supports whatever I do, but it wasn't always that way. Also, my heroes are all the positive influential role models: my teachers, coaches, and mentors that are by my side during my artistry endeavours.

Please tell us, Deborah, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Fashion Designer?

It is always good to learn the right techniques in any discipline in painting, dance, and fashion design before bending the rules to carve your path.

Deborah, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

Yes. Make sales every opportunity you get because living a life of art is funded only by the work that is created by you, so you must sell it. Meaning, get comfortable asking for the sale. Otherwise, you may never learn about the industry.

Deborah, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Designer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

Deborah, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Fashion Designer?

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
