About: I have always been a creative person. When I was in my early 20's, I was the singer for the band Bending Spoon that had a good bit of online success. In my free time, I wrote a book that hit the best sellers list on Amazon on Metaphysics. I had had some small success in selling some of my paintings when I was a little younger as well.
These days I have taken my interest in photography to new heights, and it has become a passion of mine. It has brought me a lot of joy in my life, and I really love the people I get to meet along the way. At the beginning of 2017, I was chosen as the official photographer for the state wide preliminaries for Miss Teen/Miss Alabama pageants. That was a total blast to shoot.
I enjoy travelling the world and seeing new places. I have been to many countries, and there are much more I would love to visit someday.
My photo style is a modern darker and moody style. I like to find beauty in places that you would not normally see beauty in, then bring it out in my photography.
I specialise in
-Black and white photography
Tell us something about yourself. What you do, passion and aspiration in life?: If I had to pick one thing as my ultimate passion, It would definitely be my photography. It brings light to my life.
Who is your inspiration in life? How do you keep inspired?: I inspire myself. I have gone through a great deal in my life that has made me who I am today. I have lost many loved ones including a fiance. The fact that I still wake up everyday and strive to move forward and create good in the world is an inspiration to myself.
What is your aspiration in life?: Wow, this is a tough one. There are many things that I hope to accomplish in my lifetime. I would love to meet the girl of my dreams and settle down with her. I would also love to become a well known sought after photographer.
What is the most challenging part of your profession?: Mother nature, definitely mother nature. Things that are out of my control when it comes to shooting photos. That has got to be the hardest part of this job.
When you’re working with a large number of customers, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. How do you go about prioritising your customers’ needs?: It can be hectic at times, that is for sure. All you can really do is try to do the best that you can. Sometimes deadlines will not be hit, and that can make you feel you have failed. But you just have to remind yourself that sometimes you cannot do everything.
Give me an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.: Oh boy, that has got to easily be in my signature pose. It is hard to convince a person that the way you have them posed is amazing looking when they feel awkward. You have to convince them that they are looking their best and that they have no reason to feel embarrassed or odd. Some people just never feel like they are beautiful no matter how you pose them, but you just have to form a bond with them and be their friend. Help them to understand that you are there to bring out the best of them.
Tell me about your proudest professional accomplishment.: Being selected as the official photographer for the Miss and Miss Teen Alabama preliminaries. That was such a pleasure to work with them.
How old do you have to be before it can be said you died of old age?: maybe 80
Do glow-in-the-dark objects stop glowing when somebody turns the lights on?: Nope
If parents say, “Never take candy from strangers” then why do we celebrate Halloween?: Hey now, we didn't take it, they gave it to us hahaha
If one man says, “it was an uphill battle,” and another says, “it went downhill from there,” how could they both be having troubles?: Treadmill
