Our readers would love to get to know you more Daniela. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?
Even for the simplest photoshoot I always try to put everything I've got into it. I always put my models first, and I am always open for their input during shoots which makes it very flexible and enjoyable for both sides.
I do not consider being a photographer as a job but more as a passion which I am very determinate to pursue.
Daniela, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My father is a nature photographer, and when he got his first DSLR camera, I used to borrow it from him to take photographs of my friends. It all started as a hobby, but very quickly it becomes my long-term passion. My long-term goal is to have my photography studio and to work alongside professionals in my field.
Who is your inspiration in life Daniela? How do you stay inspired as Photographer?
My inspiration mostly comes from my everyday experiences. On a daily basis, I get tons of ideas about different types of photo shoots, for example, seeing the cute dress on a shop display would make me think of the ways I would make an exciting photoshoot.
Most of my photo sessions have been made on location due to my love to travel and explore new environments I could use in the future.
We all make mistakes Daniela; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
My biggest mistake is that I didn't go for photography course when I was studying. I do try to make it up and go for short courses, but now I feel like I wasted 4 years on studying something that wasn't worth it.
Daniela, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?
I am patient and precise, and I do prefer to work on something longer to make sure client gets what they want, rather than rush and lose an opportunity. Until now all clients that I had the chance to work with were very flexible and understanding in my working ways which made it very easy and comfortable to work with.
Please tell us, Daniela, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
Because work takes most of my time, I do priorities it the most, but I always make sure to have time to meet with my family and friends as they help my mind to escape from work and to relax.
Daniela, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I never actually had to persuade anyone until now to see things my way.
Daniela, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.
My most significant personal accomplishment was that when I get the Photodoca position, and I had the chance to work with Cheeky fire. They are amazing at what they do, and I hope one day I will be that talented as them.
Daniela, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?
I just had a photo shoot, I meant to take photos on the street with neon lights in the background to achieve colourful bokeh lights, but we couldn't find anything that would be worth it. So we ended up in a club where I took the photos. I never worked in a low-light environment before, so it felt harsh, yet I enjoyed it a lot and can't wait to do something similar again.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?*
Practise as much as you can, by practice you not only expanding your portfolio but also gaining more skills.
