My name is Daniel Cherenet. I'm a Photographer from Los Angeles. I started my Photography business in hopes of being able to share the love and connect with people from all backgrounds. I truly enjoy being able to capture precious moments with people and building brides. To me, photography is more than just a form of art but rather an opportunity to share a priceless moment with close ones and strangers.
Daniel, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My aspiration in life is to fulfil my purpose in life. I would love to start doing that by using my talents to spread love, peace, and joy to everyone I encounter.
Who is your inspiration in life Daniel? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration in life comes from my parents, seeing how hard they work to achieve their dreams is very motivating. It was also beautiful to see how far they were willing to go to make sure their kids got the best in life.
We all make mistakes Daniel; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
My first mistake as an amateur photographer was not doing enough Photoshoots for promotion. I was so hungry to get paid, I rushed the process and lost some opportunities as a result.
Daniel, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
The best way for me to manage my clients is on a scheduled basis. This allows me to edit the work on first come first serves basis.
Please tell us, Daniel, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
As a photographer who is also a student and an entrepreneur, time management is what saved my life. I will never forget the season in which my classes were coming down on me during exams season, but I still had to find time to shoot with clients and edit the work. It’s was rough in the beginning, but I believe I found the balance now.
Daniel, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
A time in which I was able to persuade a client to look st things my way would be when I explained the price for a client. She was unsure as to why the price was more than she expected. My willingness to explain the process to her really allowed her to realise that the price intact was very fair. Considering the time that is involved with travel and editing.
Daniel, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I believe the proudest moment for me was able to capture the first dance at my friend's wedding. This was very specially for me because he really loved the picture and it meant a lot to him. Considering the fact that I got in this business for reasons like that, I would say I was very proud to be a part of that moment.
Daniel, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
A time in which I had to be creative was when I kept being put in a box for a style of editing. This pushed me to experiment with other tones and styles. Over time I was able to show my versatility as a photographer.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
My only advice would be perfect your craft as much as you can. Always accept opportunities to shoot with people paid or free you are always gaining experience from it.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I would love to collaborate with clothing brands, models, and other photographers.
