Sometimes I tend to have anxiety a lot, but modelling has always kept me calm and confident in myself. I have been Seles, yes to be featured in Virtuoso Magazine and has been in the cover of T. A. K. E. S. Magazine.
Chyna, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My passion and aspiration are to show all types of women that we as women are all beautiful and we can do anything we set our minds to. I started as a hobby, but it started to progress and became a career when I realised this is something that I love doing.
Who is your inspiration in life Chyna? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration in life is my mother and father as someone who as always pushed me to be great. And as a model inspiration that would be Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks.
We all make mistakes Chyna; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
As a model, I wish that with some gigs or photoshoot that I would have got more information about that event before actually doing them.
Chyna, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I would take a deep breath and handle one situation at a time and not rush because I love to make people happy which makes them love to work with me and want to work with me over and over again.
Please tell us, Chyna, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Doing the Broner Bros show in Atlanta we had to stand in heals for several hours for three days, and of course, my feet did hurt, but I didn't sit down or take a break because I was there to do a job.
Chyna, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I would basically give someone a suggestion on what we should do like at a photo shoot and give them the pros and cons of why it would work and why it wouldn't work, and I also listen to what the person has to say as well.
Chyna, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was my photos being plastered in a hair salon.
Chyna, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
There was a shoot that was very creative. It was a photoshoot about, and I was the leading lady. The most exciting part about this shoot was going through the process of becoming this amazing woman who built her empire and worked hard at doing it. I get very excited during makeup and hair before a shoot or show!
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
No matter what life puts in your way always believe I yourself and never let anyone tell you that you're not fit for the industry.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I'm into any collaborations including hair, makeup, photo shoots, fashion shows and more.
