Chrissy, please tell us your talent/work rate per hour?
Depending on the type of event, fashion show, or photo shoot. Anywhere from $75-100/hr.

Chrissy . Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I have been modeling for almost ten years with BNB Chicago. Also signed with The Rock Agency mainly print & advertisement, hair modeling, and local Midwest shows & events

I have done a lot of Beauty/Fashion runway shows for Paul Mitchell, Redken and Pureology, Farouk, Sexy Hair, L' Anza, and Matrix. In my hometown Milwaukee, WI and also in Chicago, IL I have modeled for many local midwest designers for fashion photo shoots and runway shows.

Aside from modeling, I am also involved with pageants, specifically the Miss United States National Pageant system. I competed two years: Ms. Nebraska 2015 and Ms. Wisconsin 2016 placing in the Top 12. For 2017, I signed on as a State Co-Director for Miss Wisconsin United States helping with planning, guiding, and prepping for pageants.

When not busy with modeling or pageants, I remain busy with being a Dental Hygienist as my main job. I love to work out, go running, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, softball, tennis, etc. Beauty comes from within, so I prefer to keep my mind & body at work at all times.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Chrissy. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I was born in the Philippines, adopted when I was a baby, and am soon planning a trip back to possibly meet my biological mother.

Chrissy, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My goal is to be an inspiration to women of all ages, of different walks of life, different body types, different looks, and different interests that no matter what she may look like or what she feels she is/is not strong at doing, that as long as she puts her whole heart into her dreams, she can achieve greatness.

Growing up, I never thought modeling or pageants would be in my future. I never felt pretty enough, tall enough, thin enough, or good enough to be a part of that lifestyle. I took chances proving not just others wrong, but more importantly myself wrong. Once I became a part of it and did well, I gained more confidence within myself and challenged myself further in other aspects of life.

Who is your inspiration in life Chrissy? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration is every female I ever come across. Every woman is beautiful, strong, smart, and unique in her way which I look up to. Every model, every beauty pageant queen, every co-worker, classmate, gym member, family, or female friend I see or hear from is beautiful in her way, and I aspire every quality they have.

We all make mistakes Chrissy, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
When I first started modeling at the first fashion show I ever walked in, I let intimidation get the best of me. Being surrounded by so many tall, thin, gorgeous models who had experience scared me. I kept quiet and did not make any effort in enjoying my time, have fun, or meet new people/make friends. Looking back at that, I am glad I changed and had to keep thinking to myself, I am good enough, I am pretty enough, I got chosen to model here for a reason and have just as much right as they do. Putting any negative thoughts and intimidation to the side, I was able to perform much better and have so much more fun in what I was doing.

Chrissy  ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

Organization and communication are key among everyone on a team. Knowing and following a time/schedule is important.

Please tell us Chrissy , about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Be prepared for any curveball thrown at you. As a model, anything can happen! I have had various fashion shows or photo shoots where I thankfully had an overpacked model bag with the needed essentials! I have had either hair/makeup artist not show, or other models not show so you have another look to model. I always bring hair, makeup, clothing, shoes, accessories with me just in case.

Chrissy , please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Know what you're doing & explain things thoroughly! Experience does take a person far. Being able to explain from a previous experience is a learning experience for the future in any given situation. I don't feel like I need to persuade people, I just talk and listen to their needs and work out a plan to move forward that works best for anyone.

Chrissy, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest professional accomplishment as a model is in 2015 at the Miss Wisconsin United States pageant; I was named Top Model/Fashion Hero Runway. I felt a level of beauty and confidence I never had before.

Chrissy, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
One of my favorite photographers to work with, Scott Ligman of Cardinal White Photography, lets me be as fun and creative with different types of looks I want to achieve at our photo shoots. We take various ideas and create art. Working with a fun, trusting photographer is key. He understands me and knows how to work different angles, lighting, effects, etc.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Always keep in mind that the client, designer, director, photographer, HMUA, stylist, and model have a certain look that he/she is trying to achieve for the job - as fun as it is, there is a lot of work involved from everyone on the team. Be open with what you are comfortable with, yet push yourself & look outside the box. Be You! :)

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, always love being involved with various photo shoots or fashion shows: everyday look, casual, sport, beauty, fashion, glam, editorial - hair/makeup, clothing, or promotional work.
