Chaz. Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I am a young Jamaican-American model/actor from Atlanta, GA, looking to start a career in the entertainment industry. I studied Business Management for my undergraduate education and have worked with several companies in representing their brand. I have also done an extra role in a movie "Recognize (2012)" and made a few extra appearances on the hit television shows "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta".

I'm a big Socialite in Atlanta; So I like working and interacting with all kinds of individuals. I also enjoy being taken out of my element, hence the reason why I would like to breakout and grow into this industry. I feel that my best attributes are my dramatic personality, sense of humor, facial expressions, and artistic ideas. I eventually would love to work in production simultaneously with modeling and acting, in order to make myself more marketable and to gain sustainability in this industry.

Chaz Kelly specializes in:
-Modeling
-Acting
-Business Management
-Marketing

Our readers would love to get to know you more Chaz. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I feel that I am unique amongst others because of my vast set of interests and big personality. I am the perfect mix of the life of the party, the ultimate professional, and cool nerd (lol). I am into a multitude of thing like fashion, anime, art, sports, television, movies, drawing, writing, radio, dance, music, and the list goes on. I mainly love to see how all of my interests correlate, then analyze how I can use them all to motivate myself to do greater things.

Chaz, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion is people. Everyday I wake up and ask myself what can I do different than yesterday that involves people. My aspirations in life are to work for myself while working alongside and helping others. I believe that face-to-face connections that are built, are the ones that will last.

I am currently a Bartender and that also makes me feel like I'm a artist, a therapist, and an entrepreneur. All of which other people saw in me besides just a Bartender. Those same people would also always tell me that "I'm limiting myself", or that "I do not look like I should be only doing this". I always ignored those statements because I didn't believe in myself.

It wasn't until I lost my job back in 2015 while I was finishing college that I started to think about other things to do that were outside of the traditional workforce. Although I still spent another year mentally prepping myself and getting back on my feet, I all of a sudden found my voice and the power within myself to want more. So I figured why not take a chance on myself while I'm still young and still try with every odd against me. People weren't telling me to do this for no reason, I feel that it was god's way of telling me to answer my calling.

Shortly after I put myself out there, I started getting callbacks to work with other upcoming models, producers, and photographers. Even though these were small start up processes, I still knew that this was just training for me until I was ready to go after that major role or booking. So currently I am building my portfolio and auditioning whenever possible.

Who is your inspiration in life Chaz? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration in life is never wanting to be like those that I have seen fail whether they are friends, family or acquaintances. So I am my own inspiration and driving force. I've had to fight for a lot while being alone with no family or support for so long that I had to learn how to look within myself to bring out my specific talents or superpowers. What keeps me inspired is that I will never settle and seeing the look of happiness on my loved ones faces stemming from my accomplishments.

We all make mistakes Chaz, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
In my last photoshoot, the photographer's timing for taking certain poses was off in my opinion. Instead of just letting him do whatever with the photoshoot I should have given him constructive criticism. It would have helped my shots and him as a photographer I feel.

Chaz ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

Well, first I would try to take care of my client's most difficult or timely needs the best way I see possible. I have a natural sense of urgency and talent of being able to multitask. So with those to things in play, I will not give up until all of my client's needs are taken care of the best way I see fit or that coincides with their vision. I also believe that it is always important to try and get feedback from the client to make sure my delivery is accurate. If anything is off on my part, I have no problem with being critiqued and given the chance to fix it.

Please tell us Chaz, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

As a model I have come to understand that certain photographers are good for shooting specific looks. I remember with one of my earliest photoshoots that I was only allowed to bring 2 look to shoot. I wanted more looks in my pictures so I could use the different looks for different things I wanted to do or say at those times. So I strategically wore clothes that I could snatch off quickly and use for the next look too. I ended up getting four looks from that shoot that day instead of 2. I had to use my sense of style to make it appear as if they were not all of the same outfit.

Chaz, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I persuade people to but things at work all the time whether if it is premium liquor, a better cut of steak, or more product in general. Once I figure out ones likes, I quickly can adapt to their way or form of thinking to help them come to a decision. I feel that having or possessing knowledge about what you re selling or providing is the basis of art of persuasion because it is nearly impossible for one to efficiently conduct business without it. I can't sell someone something I know nothing about.

Chaz please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was getting my very first callback after meeting a photographer at the 2017 Southeastern Emmy's this past summer in Atlanta, GA. It was my proudest moment because I put a lot of last minute effort into attending the ceremony/ event and was not expecting anything like that to come from it. I was solely there for the experience and to seek some form of indirect personal motivation for me entering the entertainment industry. When the photographer called me back the following week to say he was very impressed with my look and that he wanted to use me to help build his portfolio.

Chaz, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
As a model when I picked out the locations of my outdoor photoshoot was a time where I got complete creative control. I immediately thought of places with color and graffiti. I see walls of graffiti as a complimenting versatile background. The many shapes of figures, writings, and color gave me the chance to do a lot with my looks and expressions.

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?

Don't give up. Ignore the doubt. Find your angles. Don't be afraid of trying different things. Take on every opportunity.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. I would love to work different designers in fashion, estheticians in skin care, and make-up artists for abstract editorials. I also want to get into doing commercials for different companies, becoming their brand ambassadoe. Lastly , the top goal is to star in movies and television shows, which I feel is my greatest goal and dream.

Now for the best part Chaz! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
