ABOUT

My background is PR/Marketing, and I approach my clients to work by firstly understand where they are, how do they promote themselves. Will then work with my clients at identifying where they want to be. I will then come up with a creative vision/mood board.

Carine, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

I changed career ten years ago. After leaving a high-end job.I PR/marketing. Went back to full-time uni for a year and got a diploma in photography with.distinction.

Who is your inspiration in life Carine? How do you keep inspired?

Everything inspires me, from a visit to the VA, listening to some music, reading the latest fashion magazines. I found inspiration in everyday life.

We all make mistakes Carine; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

Carine, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

Planning is your best friend when dealing with multi projects which I am used to as my previous career was in PR/Marketing.

Please tell us, Carine, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?

Carine, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

I would say it is not about persuading someone in seeing things my way it is more a collaborative way of working where everyone can implement their idea to a vision I would have set and feel that their creative contribution make the whole project a success.

Carine, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

Carine, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Don't give up your creative project and always take a no with feedbacks as a massive positive push forward.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?

Definitely to collaborate with creative people.
