State / Region
I studied Social Science at the University of Maryland. I currently work overseas. While living in Japan, I have worked with countless photographers to build a huge portfolio. I earned my title of the model here and hoped to spread it to the United States when signed with the right agency.
Our readers would love to get to know you more Brylee. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I am the biggest nerd. When people meet me, I am shy or when they see my modeling, they think typical pretty girl. Little do they know, deep inside I am a nerd at heart.
Brylee, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I want to be a model and an inspiration for those who are shorter. I want to break barriers in the fashion industry for us shorties. Other than modeling, I want to help run an animal rescue for stray and abandoned animals.
Who is your inspiration in life Brylee? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration is my father. He worked hard to provide for all of us and has always been there to pick us up when we are down. Without him, I don't think I would have the strength or courage to be a model.
We all make mistakes Brylee, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
One time I did a shoot with a photographer and it was awful! The makeup looked awful on me and the photos were just bad. In my face you could see I was unhappy and not lively. I asked for the photos to not be posted and we had an argument, but a year later we worked together again!
Brylee ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I like to learn what each client needs and then strategize in my head what the best way to approach the situation would be.
Please tell us Brylee, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Often times I will do a shoot which has mulitple photographers all wanting photos. I have to make sure my angles are right where each photographer is standing, as well as where my eyes and body placement is. I have to be fully aware of how my body looks at all times.
Brylee, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I often persuade others to see a smarter way of completing our processes at work. We have many different procedures but I try to work smarter and not harder.
Brylee please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was my first published Online Magazine for having freckles.
Brylee, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I love when I am a test subject for lighting and I can just do my own thing. I can be as creative as possible. It allows me to test new styles of modeling.
What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?
Do it. Don't give up. You will have lots of rejection but keep on keeping on.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I would love to work with all types of fashion talents. I believe I have a look that can be used in a variety of styles.
Now for the best part Brylee! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
