‰ÛÏI think that God gave each of us a calling on our lives. And it is up to us whether we want to answer the call.I've always felt like modelling was my call. Since I was a young girl, I would always find my self daydreaming about one day becoming a supermodel. I knew that when the time was right if I could believe in myself, then that dream would one day come true. With this tiny belief in myself, everything else fell into place. God surrounded me with all the right people to get to where he wants me to be. I started an online clothing boutique with a close friend that helped me to be able to put some really cute clothes together and begin to build my portfolio. Our site name is (jubree.com). I was also granted a photographer who is a very close friend of mine. It all just came together.
Brianna, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?
I've always had a passion for fashion. I've always looking putting sophisticated outfits together that beat described me as a person. I started as a model when I was about 13 years old and was spotted in the mall by an agent. I was too young and had braces though, so I just assumed it wasn't my time yet. I then went on to play volleyball and basketball in high school and college.
Who is your inspiration in life Brianna? How do you stay inspired as a Model?
My mother is my inspiration in life and her mother's mother also. They inspire me because of how strong they were. I appreciate them for making me into the woman I am today who isn't afraid to chase her dreams. As a model, I stay inspired through other models. The models I look up to. Ebonee Davis, Leomie Anderson, Winnie Harlow, and Tatianna Elizabeth. They all keep me motivated and show me what's possible for myself.
We all make mistakes Brianna; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
My biggest mistake was not pursuing my modelling career sooner.
Brianna, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
Extremely flexible and coachable. I take direction very well and always want to make sure clients are happy and satisfied with what I'm doing for them.
Please tell us, Brianna, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
I've been working a lot on staying present, and I think that's how I do it. I always find time for each and make sure my friends and family all know how much I love them.
Brianna, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Everyone has their way of thinking and always like to tell people that there is no right or wrong answer, just different perspectives. I give a detailed reason as to why I see something a certain way without negating how the other person feels or sees it.
Brianna, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.
So far, getting signed with Rage Models!
Brianna, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
My favourite part about my work is creative with it. I like to create a mood with my pictures. To create a mood, I think the background is the most important part. I love being able to find different backgrounds and creative places to take pictures. Helps bring my vision/mood to life. The most difficult part would have to be finding the best angles to portray the look I'm trying to accomplish.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Anyone can do it! Anyone. Just believe in yourself and do not let the no's discourage you.
