After completing my matrix, I did not further my studies because I didn't know what to study. I became a recruiter at a company in Johannesburg. I resigned after four months of hard work, and little salary. I found a job at Edgars as a specialist, I worked for six months and I, unfortunately, resigned because of health issues I had at that time. I found a job, which I'm currently doing, as a promoter. Now I am waiting to be accepted at a local university to study business management.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Boitumelo. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I'm bubbly, disciplined and very polite. I stay away from toxic people and situations.
Boitumelo, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I started as a model when I was 16 years old; I am 20 years old now, I stopped modelling while I was 16 because I had no self-confidence. I resumed when I was 18 with a fierce attitude and never gave up till then.
I want to have my modelling agency and a clothing line
Who is your inspiration in life Boitumelo? How do you keep inspired?
My situation at home is my inspiration. I'm inspired to get up and work hard to be financially free. I don't want the word "broke" in my vocabulary anymore.
We all make mistakes Boitumelo; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I once ran away from a shoot because the photographer was making me uncomfortable. I later learnt that there are people like him, I just have to suck it up and keep my head high.
Boitumelo, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I make sure I know what my client wants and do my best to do what the client wants. Both of us will leave happy at the end of the day.
Please tell us Boitumelo, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
When I learnt that I couldn't use the same old pictures to apply for agencies. I updated my profile; I had to look for someone who was willing to do a shoot for free. I found him; I got my new pictures, I got an agency.
Boitumelo, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I sold an R1650 bottle of vodka to a customer while I was promoting in a club. That bottle costs R200 in bottle stores and the customer knew about that.
Boitumelo, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
It was when my picture was published in a newspaper for the first time. I was proud because it gave me the boost I needed for my career.
Boitumelo, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
While I was working as a specialist, I had to advertise the clothes in my department by buying and wearing them.
That boosted my sales, but I became a shopperholic (someone who goes shopping even when they don't have to)
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Be positive. The modelling industry is brutal out there; they must be strong and confident. They shouldn't be too proud to ask for help. Befriend models and photographers
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. Any one that can still promote me in a positive way
Now for the best part Boitumelo! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
