Originally from Brazil, I have been travelling the world as an international model for the past twelve years. Currently, I am based in Los Angeles, California. Having the opportunity to go the world from an early age I opened my mind to new cultures, I learned about myself and had the pleasure to visit twenty-seven countries. The more I travel I feel an urge to explore and get to know new places and attend the same ones with fresh eyes. I keep a positive and grateful mindset to keep me grounded. Combining my life experience and passion for writing, I share about my path and thoughts with the world through Instagram and my recently launched my blog, My Wanderlust Mind. Being in a world where we feel so much expectation pressuring ourselves, most of my writing is related with motivation, inspiration and empowerment, leading each of us to remind ourselves of the essential things in life. In my international Modeling career, I had the honour to work with the most prestigious fashion brands. Some of my recent work in the US campaigns, TVCs, catalogues and fashion shows for clients like Rachel Zoe, Uniqlo, Forever 21, Vizio, Monique Lhuillier, The Jetset Diaries, Lauren Moshi, Sherri Hill, and many more. I also had privilege the honour to shoot the cover for American Style, a four-part CNN Original Series that examines how America’s changing style through the decades has mirrored the political, social, and economic climate of the time, shaping our unique American identity. That will be released in January 2019.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Bianca. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?

I share a free-spirited life journey fulfilled with motivation, travel, happiness and lifestyle inviting you to take care of your mind, body and soul. Inviting people to think outside the box and explore the world.

Bianca, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I am passionate about writing, reading, yoga, fitness, and combining it all to help make a difference in the world.

I started my modelling career in Brazil when an agency found me in a magazine event.

Who is your inspiration in life Bianca? How do you stay inspired as Model?

I enjoy taking care of myself as a whole: Mind, Body & Soul. What helps me to stay focused and inspires is expressing myself in my writings, eating healthy, exercising myself and having a strong base of family and friends that always support me through the good and tough times. My inspiration as a model is Gisele Bündchen.

We all make mistakes Bianca; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back?

I have been through a very manipulative and physically aggressive relationship that kept my self-esteem very low. I wish back then that I could have had more strength and support to get out of it sooner, nowadays I write for people who go through tough times, so they understand that they are not alone and I, like many others, stand beside them telling them to choose to see their value and, that they are not alone, they are seen.

Bianca, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?

I enjoy bringing fun energy to work, so before I go in the set, I listen to songs that empowers me. So that I can give my best for each brand. Although I am far from the perfect pitch, I also enjoy singing to the music in the studio. I love getting to knowing people and their stories when I am at work.

Please tell us, Bianca, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

My life is pretty busy, and Los Angeles has a lot of traffic, so I always call my family from the car. I always make time to see my friends because I believe that community is vital, especially when you are physically away from your family. I am also very thankful to the community who follows me on my social media platform, and I always try to reply and get to know them on my comments. As for my work, I like having a routine for a workout and to prepare my meals in advance, so bring my lunch and snack with me to work. I wake up hours before work, so I have time to ground myself and head to work early, I’m the kind of person who prefers to arrive an hour early than one minute late.

Bianca, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

The modelling Industry is related to creativity and art, we all work as a team. You don’t do an excellent job by getting things your way or by making another person on the side feel bad. I believe the best way of creating a good environment is to let everyone know they are valued and their importance there. I am always respectful to give my ideas input, and that’s the best way you can be heard. You need to keep in mind that you are there to bring the client’s vision to life.

Bianca, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.

I have been in editorials for magazines like Vogue, L’official, Elle, Elle Girl and so many more. I also work with incredible brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton. But I believe my best accomplishment is to inspire people through my work, to allow brands to tell their stories and for people who see my pictures to have the opportunity to feel hope and trust in their dreams.

Bianca, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

I love exploring my creative side, and we have to do that often in my work. For example, many beautiful clothes need a movement to come to life, you need to find the best changes to show the public the feature of what they are getting. I also love to take off the personality of the client and imagine who wears it and how I can show them in a way that they can see themselves wearing it.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?*

You will hear a lot of “no” along the way, do not allow it to bring you down or take it personally. Absorve what is good for you and any negativity you repel, focus on how you feel about you are doing, your passion and the reason you are working in the industry.
